Buying a C6 - need help with color...

If you were looking for a clean, previously owned C6, say 2009 on up, and you wanted a masculine color, which would you choose?

Obviously Carlisle Blue would be out of the question.

Real man colors only please.

Begin...

Well......anything but silver.

And automatics are definitely out of the question no matter what color car you have. :lolg:

A pink manual trumps a black auto.. :D

Wait...what about Blade Silver with an M6 rather than the girly stick auto?

JRYELLOWCORVETTE 04-16-2014 06:49 PM

Buy the color that YOU like... but you might find a good deal low mileage in a color that is not your first choice. That is what happened to me. I like most of the Vette colors except Black and Dark Blue.

1StopJeff 04-16-2014 06:50 PM

There is only one color for Corvette Racing! :-]

But most guys say that Black, and Dark Blue, are the most manly colors.

Is yellow legal in all states?

Hmmm, that pink butterfly looks pretty menacing. :yesnod:

Had a white Corvette once and a guy at a car show said white wasn't a sports car color....I told him the whole thing started with a white Corvette...:yesnod:

Maybe the guy owned a $600k Lambo?

To those guys, a Corvette isn't a sports car.

Ok on White, but it sounds a little too virginny to me.

Gotta run, I'll be back later.

More colors please.

ExRedRacer 04-16-2014 07:07 PM

I'll go ahead and say it:

All Corvettes are RED.
:auto:

BWF07 04-16-2014 07:09 PM

Real men drive any color they like, but just remember, "All Corvette's are RED the rest are Mistakes".

R&L's C6 04-16-2014 07:09 PM

Your thread got me thinking about more than just colors. Do real men drive narrow body base cars or wide bodies, convertibles or coupes???

plmkrzy 04-16-2014 07:16 PM

Supersonic Blue Grand Sport.:yesnod::yesnod: :cool::cool:

And what's wrong with Carlisle Blue? If this isn't manly enough for you I'd say your not very secure in your sexuality. And BTW, it's an auto too!

z edge 04-16-2014 07:21 PM

Obviously you gotta roll with Fuschia :leaving:

Real men don't even entertain asking such a insecure question such as this.........

Stickshiftsteve 04-16-2014 07:59 PM

A car's color doesn't make it any more or less manly.
But the driver & any added personal touches will!
