I ordered my C7 convertible last week. White with red interior, red calipers, chrome wheels, 7 speed, black top, 1LT. I'm starting to regret not getting the 2LT but it seems the only things I'm missing out on are: red stitching and HUD. The price tag is so steep between the two packages when these are the only two things I need. Ugh, I think I'm just looking to get talked into changing my order.

Didn't overthink it. The only reason I went with the 2LT was to get the Kalihari interior. The HUD and stitching are great but not worth the price difference by themselves, IMO.

If all you're concerned about is the HUD and red stitching, I'd recommend just sticking with the 1LT. But if you get convinced that you'd rather have the 2LT goodies, but need to reduce the costs a bit, consider swapping out the chrome wheels for aluminum painted wheels.

At the price of the 3LT Z51,I have an extra $30,000-$40,000 in the bank.

An extra $30,000-$40,000? Really? I'd love to see how you arrived at those numbers. :willy:

Another buyers remorse is "I spent too much" The "want" of the car
vs the cash outlay rubs off!
or loss of job. If you expect more for a 3lz than a 1lz when you sell
it. Better expect little to no return.
Lots of cars kept for 1 year or less then resold.

I owned a zero option base c6 and a fully loaded z06 c6. They are weekend cars and I was perfectly content with my zero option 1lt. The only time I wish I had a higher option car was when I went to sell it. I still sold it for the same price I bought it for, just took a little longer. When I got the fully loaded car, it's cool to say you have them and I get slightly more enjoyment I guess(from the options) but I could easily live without them.

Maybe it's the same with all Corvette choices but it seems clear to me it's what YOU want, and what you'll be satisfied with. While I've vacillated on many choices for my new Corvette, 1LT or 2LT isn't one of them. The only thing I'd really care whether I had or not is the upgraded stereo system and I can remedy that for not much money. All the other things that make up the 2LT package I guess I'd rather have than not but that's about it. The resale value argument sounds like a nice rationalization to feel better about spending the money. Not that it doesn't add some value but to me the only reason to get a 2LT is because you want it.

I knew someone would ask that. With GM discount I bought my 1lt no options for $49,250.With A 3LT Z51 add it all up at the chevrolet build site
It comes around $89,000 subtract 89,000 from $49,000 and it's $40,000.

I went 1lt, but you can outfit this car very similar to a 2lt for far less money. I just bought the center arm rest and tunnel leather piece for around $300, I got the FAY carbon fiber dash for $500 and you can stain the stiching for $12. The 2lt doesn't even include the CF dash. The only thing that will be different on my car are the door handle cushions won't be red, but that is my least favorite part about the 2lt color combo.

The other options didn't amount to a hill of beans to me for $4k, you can install a homelink transmitter for $20, and the HUD I can't see being a huge advantage of the large display right in front of your face on the dash. I think the Z51 has way more value for the money.

I went with the 1lt with grey seats and you get a little extra bonus with grey stitching on the doors, center arm rest and dash. Looks great

Apples and oranges. $69,445 minus $54,995 equals $14,450, not $40,000. But nice try on manipulating the numbers to suit your agenda. Are you an economist? :smash:

I said 3LT Z51 all the options.I didn't list 2LT prices.
I was either going to go all the way at $89,000 or $49,000 on
The cheap.Call me A cheap person .But $40000 is the difference between
The best and just the basic,DUH

It's still a bogus comparison. The question at hand is 2LT vs 1LT, not buying every option in the book vs a 1LT.

I know it stated 2LT.So condemn me for adding 3LT.

And everything else in the book including $5k or whatever it is for custom VIN. Truly bogus comparison to meet your agenda.
