Is that REALLY the only way you can see this scenario? C'mon man? How about this. Could it be that since the ding is in the driver's side, he doesn't want to see it every time he gets into the car?

Whether you are right or wrong, Maybe we should string he and his wife up for their crimes....she for the ding and he for the vanity or for not wanting to face reality. Either one will do. we can find some fault with him which is egregious enough to make him pay for his attitude.

C'mon guys!! Sheesh. Maybe we should start a psychology forum for all the practicing psychologists on board. Or maybe a firing squad forum where we could ridicule all those posters who post something we disagree with until they relent of their post and apologize.

Good point. Some people who have posted here who are saying it's just a car are full of s**t, then why the hell are they on a message board for "just a car". I'm sure they're not on a message board for their dodge stratus. You have the right to be upset because it's costing you and your wife more money to fix it and time too.
The people pointing the finger at you for being some sort of monster must be a spineless b**ch in their relationship and their wife probably uses a strap on, on them.
You are dead on with the duck hunting comparison too.
Congrats on standing up for yourself. It must suck to be such cowards like the ones insulting you. Theirs nothing wrong with keeping something in nice shape.

:lol::lol::lol:
It's still JUST A CAR!

Crowhater -

Me and mine will be waiting for an invite to cruise the pontoon boat.

Just sayin'

When you were talking about your past injuries I thought Evel had
come back to life.

I only take the Vette out if it will not be parked unattended. If I need to go in somewhere I take the truck and park it as far out in the parking lot as I can. Door dings suck big time (even on the truck)!

I grew up working on the family ranch and back then parents did not watch over you. It seemed like I always had to learn everything the hard way. When I got into dirt bikes my family figured I would kill myself before I was eighteen and I came close several times. My father knew I was nuts so he did something I could not believe, he bought me a vehicle when I turned 15. See he knew I was compiling parts to build a muscle car and he did not want that to happen. He bought me a 1977 FJ40 Toyota Landcruiser and brother going down hill with a tail wind you might get 70mph out of it. I still have it at ranch in the barn, it was a great truck. After that it was all race cars and lifted trucks. Dad always told me I was going to pay for all the injuries when I got older.

Really.
How hard is it to hold onto your door handle when you open your door?
Pity that some sub-human lazy SOB's can't respect others' property.

There would have been some words with this mother f#$*er, or a missing valve stem.

Yeah it sucks, no doubt. However, it is just a car, no matter much we love our vettes. Just fix it up and press on figuring it's the cost of having what you like. A beautiful paint job on a dynamite ride.

Quit pissing & moaning, fix it & drive it!!! Your wife had nothing to do with it, simply in the wrong place at the wrong time! Get over it!

Lol...it isn't funny I know. In 2010 I was parked in the boonies at a wal-greens and only two other cars in the lot. I run in and less than two minutes later a lady in an SUV hits the rear corner of my car so hard it spun it 180 degrees. IF she hadn't hit it do hard she would have ripped the drivers side form rear to front...As it was the rear quarter/bumper and all underneath and rear hatch and even the carpet assembly in the rear all brand new...

12k and eight weeks...
