1LT poverty package and 2008 economic crash for the mega discount win! This made the car so much more attainable- and the first year of the LS3 and a bunch of other mid-cycle refresh items.
I had it paid off in 6 or 7 months, I just had to jump on the deal when it came available and just had to shuffle a little money back and forth. The experience with the car would probably have been different than if I had a large note for a long term. The car is 5 years old now, but look how new the steering wheel leather used to be! http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c2...m.jpg~original |

Paid cash for it in April 2005, has 35,000 miles on it and I'm keeping it forever. :flag: |
It was paid for when I drove it home from the NCM.

Own it ... but drive it like I stole it!!

Both cars free and clear. The blue car never had payments and the red one only for a year.

100% down in Nov '07 and no monthly payments since. Even if I gave it away today, every dime I've ever spent for fuel, ins, license, mods, maintenance, and the original purchase price would have cost less than $1 per mile. It's a really small investment for the amount of joy it has brought to my wife and I.

Very thankful mine was paid for the day I drove it home...

Pretty nice to tell the salesman you'll stroke a check for it and no need to see the finance guy.

I have owned 25 vettes and the last one I had a loan on was when I was a senior in college and I borrowed $2,000 to purchase a brand new 1968 convert in the fall of 1967.
I have a corvette account that I use to purchase the next have to have vette and when I sell one of them the money goes back in that corvette account. Paid cash for everyone since that new 1968 including this one: http://home.comcast.net/~rjrsw2012/p...0downsized.jpg |

Paid Cash
Cash money. No loan. I hate loans. All my cars, my homes, my business, all paid for. I know it's irrational, but there it is.

Fortunately, paid in full on day one, 7-08-05.

Never finance any of my toys or I don't buy them. DRove it home from Vegas in Feb 2010 and ran into a bit of a snow storm. Thank god we didn't have any mishaps
