I'm genuinely torn on this color selection.
 

Ok so I have placed my order for Artic white z51 with carbon flash mirrors/spoiler with the full carbon flash racing stripe. I can change things around up until my order has been accepted.

I love the white it looks awesome. But the same trim combo in blade silver just pops out at ya in the sun! I think my biggest thing holding me back is if I ever have to get the car painted getting the silver to match and look right is a challenge where as with white it will be dead on.

Am I overthinking this ? Granted it shouldn't need repaired or painted but you know how that goes.

My wife hates the silver but she says I can do whatever I want :D I feel like a woman trying to pick a new handbag out or something it's terrible :willy:

Yes, you are overthinking it. God forbid, if needed, a good body shop will be able to match. The C7 looks stunning in BS. Especially, with a stripe. :cool: Surprised there aren't more takers. When I order it will be BS. Not a stripe kind of guy. But, these stripes really set the C7 off. :yesnod:

White first then silver. Stripes on both look fantastic.

Oh I have been on the build your corvette site it's alright but nothing like a picture of it in the flesh.

This is the first time that I can remember that ALL colors look good on a car. I was never a fan of white and this year they look outstanding.:thumbs:

If a white Corvette will make your wife happy, and she "hates" the silver, but you want silver, that is going to be a tough choice ... for her. Hopefully she decides she can live with the silver and hangs around. :D

Don't second guess your first choice...white is right!!!

Get silver, there are to many white ones.

I have an Artic White on order

Having been married a few years, get the white. It will make her happy and when it is time for the next Corvette she wil be more inclined to go with the purchase

I am also torn between the two colors except my wife prefer the silver over the white. Good thing I have some time to choose because I'm getting the Z06.

I saw a BS convert with red interior and it looked stunning. On the Z51 coupe, however, I think the white looks best with black accents. Either the hood insert or the stripes. I am a little concerned that I might get tired of the stripes.

Go with your first choice.

Funny IHMO this is the first year to me that all the colors do not look great!!!! For me I think it is the angular lines of the car coupled with the black parts that make the colors pop or not so much.

Yes the white looks good to me....... first white car I've had only becasue of the black contrast and the wife thing.

Each to their own but the greys and silvers are OK with red interior..... not so much with any other interior.

That kalahari interior.......... I'd walk before I'd have that!!!!!

I was at the museum for the up close and personal late June. Several greys, the blue, black and the green. Plus the plant managers yellow one. Not feeling any of them. Got a long distance view of the white in the back of the plant and it looked good from 500 yards a decent par 5. I like the red and NRB.

But that is why we are all so different!!!

To the OP....... make sure you see the exact color combo before you order. I've never seen a car look so different in person vrs. pictures.

Do you really want to order a color she is not happy with?

I ordered Silver because I like that color plus; doesn't show scratches as much as some other colors, doesn't show dirt as much as some other colors, great contrast with the black bits, and it pops with black wheels and red calipers! IMHO!

Take it from a friend of mine "no man has ever been happier than his wife" - you'll love White.

I have a lot of experience with both colors. Take the silver (but I'm not married either).

I would like to know just how many AW are out there, my guess is that it is the most popular color choice for the 2014 C7.

My top three choices if /when get a c7 are Blade Silver,Torch Red and Velocity yellow with maybe orange if they reoffer something like Atomic Orange. Silver maybe with full body red stripes or red with silver stripes ,likely no stripes if went yellow or orange.

Black shows everything ,had black cars in past and way too anal to own black. Dark blue same thing and even the dark green and dark grey almost same although do like the Cyber Gray. Laguna blue looks great but just not a big blue fan most of the time. For some reason though if got a new viper would get one in Blue with White stripes possibly.
White looks decent as well but just bit too plain a color for me maybe if put some striping on it then might consider it.
Am am a bit Silvered out right now as both my daily drivers and my 911 Turbo and SL55 are silver. So for that reason think am leaning more to Torch Red or Velocity Yellow.

Also tend to like the body colored mirrors more than carbon flash ones. I could see maybe carbon fiber back spoiler ..carbon fiber not carbon flash and some carbon fiber side skirts and front splitter. Also on silver would likely go with red calipers. On red maybe silver calipers and on yellow not sure on the caliper color. And not a fan of black wheels at all prefer chrome wheels. Again all personal taste.
Also tend to like the black interiors for yellow car and silver car although the red ones look ok as well. Not big fan of the calahari that much but it could look pretty good in red car. Also carbon fiber roof can look good especially with carbon fiber back spoiler ,front splitter and
side skirts.
