Looking good. Is the cooling system going to be large enough for summer time with a/c?

silvzo6 02-16-2014 10:17 PM

Thanks guys! We put a pretty big radiator on there... spal fans going on this week and with the license plate open it should allow it to cool well enough. ..also I don't drive this car at 4pm in bumper to bumper traffic ya know so it should be fine, we'll see :)

I want to see how you routed the bottom side of the DP, and any ideas on a catback?

I still like Alan's idea of ditching the downpipe and cutting a hole in the hood.

more pics will be posted as it nears completion and no cat back , 5inch out the butt  I don't want any back pressure issues so the top end should be nasty

TY, you should move the coil packs and put some pretty valve covers on the car give it that old SBC look a little bit.

Is it going to be ovalled at all through the center? Anything over 4" on mine hung low under the tunnel.

18 wheeler exhaust = you need an air horn

silvzo6 02-18-2014 02:05 PM

8 days of bustin. Time for my car this one is close to hitting the rollers. Few odds and ends an Ty will just need coating.relo on coils.Valve covers,AC and some custom AN stuff for longevity. When $ allows for all that to be done LOL

This is the first start up just to check engine after cancer was found after we rebuilt it. So valve train still is priming up for another check of preload and Jack was hard headed to just start it to hear it since he built the turbo kit. Not bad for a 23 year old chump.

The layout and setup is awesome. Do you have a remote located power steering cooler?
