sticking with the same color as their last Corvette.

Me, I went from a Speedway white 'vert C5 to an AW and am pretty sure I will stick with white from this point on unless I find a nice mid year in which case it would be a black roadster or silver split window.

Same exterior color for me. I'm coming from a Sebring Silver C5 Vert with black interior & top to a Blade Silver C7 Vert with Kalahari interior & top. Should be here this week! I've had black and red cars, but found the silver to always look great with the least effort - that's why I'm staying with it.

Going from a Black C6 I had to a Cyber Gray C7. I loved black but it was a LOT of work to keep looking great. Same Interior though, Jet Black all the way!!! Same 3LT Z51 trim too.

My last two were machine and blade silver. This one will be AW.

I'm tired of everyone thinking I'm a Raiders fan since I live in the bay area. ;)

My C7 is torch red and my other three corvettes were also red.

Going a whole new direction with this ride. Usually like darker colors but the new one will be yellow.

Tossup between Lime Rock Green and Velocity Yellow.

Going from Black to Laguna Blue.

Not another yellow one for me, but I'm not against silver. I've had two of those and they're great.

All but three of mine have been red!

Unless there is another color that I see that really knocks me off my feet, I am thinking about staying with the combo I have on my 05 convert. Silver with red interior.

I love black, I really do. But never again. If my C7 becomes a reality it will be another color. :thumbs:

Had 5 colors on 6 Vettes (silver split window & 2 reds). Last was Cyber Gray which is a great color but am very happy to have Night Race Blue this time.

Well, since LeMans Blue (2005) isn't offered anymore, I will be going with something easier to keep looking clean. Something like white, silver, or red.

2006 silver, 2008 CRM, 2010 TR, and on order TR again.

Went from Millinium Yellow to ??Red to Velocity Yellow to Velovity Yellow. For the first time I don't have a black interior. Went yo Kalahari.

I too want an easier color to maintain. But the main reason is I have Monterey Red now and if I got Crystal Red most dim bulbs out there wouldn't realize I got a new car. :rofl: I think with the C7 I'm leaning towards Artic White with red calipers & interior. :thumbs:

My experience with white and other colors on a daily driver (non-Corvette) that stayed outside 24/7/365 is that its is not easy to keep really clean. Medium shade metallic colors are by far the easiest to keep looking clean.
If you want easy to keep clean, Blade Silver would be #1, followed by CR, LB and CG and then the solids VY, TR and White and toughest are LRG, NRB and Black.

I have an electron blue C5 right now, but when I finally do go for a C7, I am seriously considering getting an arctic white one with the red interior. That color just looks so good on a C7.

Anniversary Red on my 50th AE, to Laguna Blue with adrenaline red interior.

Black 04 to CRT and red 3lt on the C7. Close to going white with Kali but changed at last minute. Too many good looking combos to choose from.

Changed from Black Grand Sport to White Stingray...could have bought black Stingray, but thought white was sharp.

There is one color on a vette have never liked and is
yellow. But my silvers have been boring, Black hard
to keep clean. Whites geez every work truck that color.
I would maybe get a yellow just for something different
and see how long could keep it. Next up would be that
green. Did have a green Avalanche North Face and liked it

I now own a 2001 Magnetic Red coupe, and looking to get a Crystal Red coupe. Crystal Red looks almost identical to Mag red to me. Gotta have a red 'vette! :auto:

So you think the white looks like a "work truck"? If that's the case, I like work trucks! Agree the black was hard to keep clean and free of swirl marks.:cheers:

Actually, coincidentally enough it was your pic that made me start this thread, I saw the pic hanging on the wall of the red C4 and your red C7 next to it and just got curious to see if people are sticking with their same color from model to model. Interesting mix of answers here. My first Corvette was an '00 DBGM with saddle top and guts, my second was the SW with white top and black guts and since I purchased them used I didn't have luxury of choosing colors. I was going to go for white with red interior as a tribute to Canada but decided to go with white w/Kalahari (I'll just put a small maple leaf sticker on the bumper to pay respect to my country).

Nope, I went from Jet Stream Blue to Blade Silver.

In fact, I am back to the first color corvette I ever had (Sebring Silver) and love it!

My last vette was CGM. Current vette is LBT. Over the years I have had several different colors. Kinda like to mix it up.

my 94 ZR-1 is red.. my 7th Gen Corvette will be yellow :D

I never buy any car, DD or Toy, with the same color in a row. Have only afforded 3 new Corvettes and some other sports cars when priorities were elsewhere. In order they were:

65 Corvette C2 - Silver
70 MGB - Black
78 MGB - Orange
88 Fiero GT - White
05 Corvette - Precision Red
11 BMW Z4 - Alpine White
14 Corvette C7 - Laguna Blue.

I hope that there is a new yellow or orange by at least the 2017 C7. That would make it hard for me to resist.:thumbs::flag:

Had a quicklsilver '01, preceded by a silver & black '86, which I'm currently driving again since the '01 got hit, though it was repainted all black. I'm planning on getting a NRB '14.

The '86 was a college grad "gift" (use that term very loosely), so I had no say in the color of that one, and the '01 was bought off my father when I was in need of a vehicle and we'd worked out a deal, so I didn't have a complete say in that one either.

The Stingray's all mine from the get-go, so I'm getting something a little different than silver and / or black! :rofl:

I went from cyber grey on my convertible C6 to Torch Red (TR) on my C7 coupe and will be going from jet stream blue on my C6 coupe to artic white on my C7 convertible which is at status 2000. The TR is great for "eye attention" with my black wheels (come on....chrome wheels do not off-set the red car) and my artic white convertible will have the black wheels too (I hate chrome due to the constant brake dust discoloring the shiny stuff). So I did change colors quite readily and will likely do it again when I see a 2015 or later C7 in a color that I want next. I like nearly all the corvette colors choices regardless of the model variant!

My C6 is LeMans Blue and when I get a C7 it will most definitely be Laguna Blue. I'm also going to stick with the same interior color too, gotta go with gray.

Funny! My first Vette I was 31 yo bought new 96, then 2001 the Z06 then 12 years later, the C7. ALL Red. I like the car in red I guess. There's a guy on Cape Cod has a museum of personal cars, maybe 50-60 all red lol.

I don't get the aversion to black, tho it could be something to do with the effect of the angle of the sun at different latitudes. I've never waxed my black vert, but i did have it cut polished once, wash it once a week, and get compliments on it even when it's a little dirty. My current Vette and my next Vette will be triple black verts.

I'll pasture my yellow '07 A6 base coupe when GM offers a yellow Z06 w/clutch pedal delete option.

Not sure yet. C6 is torch red. Leaning toward red for the C7, but white and black are also under consideration.

Arctic White; but, Cyber Gray, Limerock Green and Black will be given consideration.

First was a blue '73, second is a steel cities gray '72 and my third is a laguna blue C7. I guess I like the blue, although I very nearly went for the crystal red with kalahari.

Red again and the last three were red. If would have been the last four but GM screwed up when the C6 came out and they didn't have a real red for a while.

I changed. I went back to red (Crystal Red M) after my black 08. I ordered one of the first 4LTs sight unseen, so I was hesitant about the way the ivory / ebony interior would match the metallic red. My 07 was Monterey Red, my 05 was Magnetic Red and my 02 was whatever metallic red was available that year.
