sparks shooting around front side of starter
 

sparks shoot out around the front side of the starter. i got down there and tightened all the wire connects and its still happening, this si after i put the tpi on after a previously carbed. it worked fine before i tore it down

Hey there keep in mind almost all wires are charged on this system, they get grounded by ECM then they complete the circuit, so if you forgot or there is a rpm, distributor ,alarm, knock sensor wire hangin against the block it will spark.
Look for a unconnected wire from the hvac system or something.
