I am anxious to see Lime Rock Green on the road. It's always nice to see colors other than the black, silver, white, etc. (which aren't really colors are they?).

LRG and Kalahari or Brownstone would be a very classy combo.

Color is so subjective ... but green will not be a vastly popular color for the vette. I think a one year color offering and out.
|
I agree that Limerock Green looks great but you sure can't tell that from the video clip. :willy:

I like a couple different colors on the C7, including Lime Rock Green, but I'd order LRG because my wife loves it and it never hurts to keep the boss happy.

Gorgeous color! Goes well with either of the browns offered by GM. Personally, I'd choose Kalahari over Brownstone.

That's why there's different colors. That green to me is absolutely hiddious.

Maybe ours will come down the line together.
Your second statement is right on. There are several discontinued colors I would have to have painted if given to me, and one or two current ones I would never consider, but I would never bash someone else for their choice. |

(BTW, your spelling is HIDEOUS.) http://file.walagata.com/w/mazdabob/2GREEN.jpg |
" I found out is that green absorbs more solar energy than any other color. That's why plants are green...not black."
Almost right. Plants absorb mainly red and blue. They are green because they reflect green. Black absorbs everything, white reflects it all. Besides being a Corvette fan, I am also a retired prof. of plant physiology. On the lime rock green color - mine, too, with brownstone. Have seen several other videos in which LRG looks much brighter, but prefer the darker look. Also seen another video in which the tail lights do the same thing - brake lights? |
That's a beautiful car! My problem with it is it looks black for most of the vid. That's not really a bad thing it's just a couple of shades to dark for my taste.

No. Been at "order placed" since Aug 6. CF dash a problem then, exposed CF roof may be part of problem now. Plan museum delivery.

glad you were here this past weekend and man its hard, every color really looks great on the stingray.....you'll love the green!
Thanks for the business! CLICK HERE for the pic I took back in April of the HOOD in LimeRock! |

I think it looks great, and it won't be a common color. What was going on with the brake lights in the video?
They pulse, or something like that, and can't be seen pulsing with the naked eye. But in a video the camera picks up the flickering and it's noticeable ;) |

Love it, reminds me of British Racing green. IMO a thick white stripe from front to back with a pinstripe bordering it would look spectacular, either way the LRG is very cool.
