99 Mag Red Coupe NJ
up for sale is my 1999 Corvette, shes got the LS1, Auto, and every available option that was available on a coupe in 1999 except the cd changer. It has the 3:15 rear, sport seats, dual zone HVAC, HUD, Dual targa roofs (clear and body color), and so on. It has just over 95k miles and is in very good shape, with a few normal road marks here and there.
Power Mods: XSpower catted Long tube headers, stainless Borla Straight Pipes (yup its loud) PCMforless tune LS6 intake manifold Cross drilled and slotted rotors and ceramic pads (maybe 15k on them) C6 Z06 shocks and Z51 sway bars (maybe 15k on them) Appearance Mods: Repro Chrome Z06 Rims with new tires Stainless body panel bolts in truck/door jambs Battery Cover Clear 3M Bra on front bumper Painted lower rear fascia and plate area black ZR1 side skirts Lowered on stock bolts Interior Mods Black Lloyd floor mats Sony Amp Stealth box with JL 10" sub under rear floor All interior lights changed to white LED Factory radio with AUX input added for MP3 player Window sticker and build sheet Extra layer of Sound/Heat deading rubber 15% Window Tints Im sure i forgot some things in there. Ive had the car since December 2009 and 74k miles. it performes perfectly, I took it on a 3k mile trip last summer, to the Corvette museum and factory and myrtle beach and back with out a problem. Synthetic Mobile 1 always used. I have all receipts for all work I've done. Trans fluid is pink and shifts perfectly. Insurance is cheap, i pay ~300 a year with Haggerty (they insure vettes of any year). No winters, was my daily driver for the summer of 2010. Only items i had to replace were the starter and the water pump outside of routine maintenance. Obviously there is some bad stuff as with any used car, the worst of which was a telephone line dropped across the hood during sandy and made a gouge smaller then the size of a dime. small mark on rear quarter behind drivers door. larger sway bars and metal end links creak a little over bumps at low speed and when the wheels cut all the way to one direction. clear targa roof is beginning to delaminate (they all do). Z06 rims do not have runflats or TPMS in them, this causes the DIC to flash at startup which u can clear. one small mark on driver seat bottom, not a hole but a notable mark smaller then a dime. With z06 wheels/tires asking price is $15,000 With Stock Wheels for $14,500 exhaust stereo zr1 skirts and such will stay, stock rims could use new tires tho. in the pics there are some lighting mods that have been removed, ie clear corners and taillights and the air intake. and pics! http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...psc41b96e5.jpg http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...ps1e2b4fcc.jpg http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...ps04cb997a.jpg http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...ps51672432.jpg http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...ps0be79563.jpg http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...ps3ba3a8c4.jpg http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...ps59da673d.jpg stock the day i bought it http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...ps108821ee.jpg |

OPTIMA Presents Corvette of the Week: More than Magnetic Red
https://www.corvetteforum.com/wp-con...Coupe-Home.jpg
This week's Corvette of the Week comes from "maroman88". It is a fully loaded Magnetic Red 1999 model. Yes, it's painted a very attractive, or magnetic, shade of red, but with those Z06 wheels and 15% window tint, the whole package comes together in such a way that allows this fiberglass-bodied car to take on ferromagnetic properties. This car is for sale on the forum, so if you're really enjoying this C5's palpable magnetism, perhaps you may be able to call it your own. More on the blog. |
