lol. I do that too. I know I'm in neutral but for some reason I still wiggle it.

That's funny!! What a coincidence, I wiggle my stick all the time at stoplights....... Trying to figure out why drivers who pass me say "wow! It's so big !"...... And I thought they were talking about my 13" wide rims in the back..... What a moron I am!

Just about everything. I keep my car "Show ready" at all times. I do drive it which makes for a busy schedule.

Well, at least she didn't spit it out ! That would have been rude and obnoxious

Mine cured me of one of my habits. Always filling up so the gas pump stops on an even dollar amount. After the first two fill ups with gas sloshing out I don't even do one extra squeeze anymore.

Slamming the door on any of our cars.

Other than that I drive it and don't obsess over it too much.

:iagree: A close 2nd "How old where you when you bought your first Corvette" and "how old are you now."....:crazy2:

2vette2 08-28-2013 06:28 PM

People leaning on it. Although I also feel that way about any car I own. :D

Keeping windows clean and the car dust free inside and out.

Proper tire inflation, 30-31 hot.

I feel a little OCD that I must talk to the Vette every time I go into the garage. Usually stuff like "wasn't that a great trip last week......", or just reminding the Vette about our next upcomming trip where it can get out, see some of it's friends from our club and have some fun...

Kind of crazy, huh?...reminds me of that old TV program My Mother The Car...

Gene...

I'm a clean freak anyway, but I really enjoy washing my car to keep it looking great.

I'm OCD about a lot of things with my Corvette. The list is long! With that said, it is my one and only car! I purposely wanted it that way, otherwise it would sit in the garage 90%of the time because of being OCD. I know of people who actually sold their Vettes because they were so anal with them. These cars are meant to be driven and enjoyed and in spite of our best efforts... they will not stay perfect!

My daughter says it should be 'CDO' so the letters are in alphabetical order. She drives a BMW.

GreginNH 08-28-2013 08:48 PM

OCD about finding a new Vette. Sold mine last week.

My OCD Issue is that while driving my car I am always looking ahead for garbage in the road that could possibly get flung up onto my Corvette by the car in front of me. I hate paint chips!

Depends on the day. I might see something on
the car as I pull into work. I will fret about all day.
Wondering why don't I make a detail kit for the road??

I'm guilty of wiping my Nav Screen, Air Conditioner screen, buttons, dash; the interior of my Vette often. One day, the Wife and I was driving home in the Vette when I decided to whip out my trusty microfiber towel and wipe my Nav screen, etc. I was just about done when to my surprise, Wifey took the opportunity to smear my screen with her fingers and smiled :D at me!! I was  but remained  and laughed  it off. She's the only one that can get away with such a stunt.

Other OCD issues:
- Leaning on my Corvette
- Slamming my door
- Fingerprints
- Sloppy service technicians
- Where I park my Corvette
- Dirty floor mats; I clean them after every trip.
- Good wipe down, detail between and after every drive
- Clean exhaust tips
- I remove the each wheel and wash & wax

Our Caddy ATS came with a microfiber cloth (like you use for you glasses) specifically to wipe the Nav/CUE screen with. My wife uses it every time we get in her car .... She's more obsessed about that car than I am the Vette
