I bought the 2LT and paid for navigation because I didn't like the interior difference or the other fluff !!! Wayne

I ordered a Z51 2lt without being able to compare the 3lt to the 2lt quality, when the dealer I ordered from had both equipped cars on the showroom and I saw and felt the difference I cancled the 2lt Z51 and it was at 3000, and reordered at 3lt , I will be picking it on the 19th in bowling green!!!!

3LT Two reasons, one had to have Brownstone, I think it is very classy. Two I Like and wanted all the extra leather, and even went for the upper suede package.

Good move. That 2LT dash and other areas are plastic looking and feeling. For me too, after comparing the two at a dealer, the 3LT is a must have.

I really hope that it was worth it in the end to go 3LT, I just hate the fact that there's still what at least _seems_ to be cheap plastic around the gauges and in the lower parts of the door and maybe even the glove box area or lower. I know that there's always costs for replacing plastic, but if Chevy had offered an option for even more non-plastic, I would have sprung for that, too!

I really do like the look of the Jet Black with the Torch Red though. But I wonder if brownstone wasn't the better choice, it looks so so nice.

I love it - it screams "classy" far more than some interiors; for instance, how can some of you stand to have blazing red all over the interior of your car? Isn't that fatiguing to look at after a while?

Bingo. Sometimes there's no accounting for taste in this crowd. They'll turn their nose up at a tasteful green exterior and dark brown interior that conveys "classy and adult while still sporty", in favor of hot lava red interior with blazing blue exterior that screams "my testicles haven't descended yet". :lurk:

You have successfully offended the 10,000 or so who purchased the undescended testicle red interior who never never said a bad word about your so called classy brown interior.
Instead of Mr. "Tasteful" you come off as being a jerk.

The padded dash and upper door areas on the 2LT have a quality look and feel. The 3LT is a step up, but in my opinion did not represent as good a value as the 2LT. Plus, I didn't need or want NAV. 2LT was a very quick and easy decision.

I love my 3LT interior. It delights my senses every time I slide into the drivers seat. The 3LT interior is beautiful to look at, feels wonderful, and last, but not least, smells rich and leathery. Whether or not it is a good value is a matter of personal opinion. I happily paid the 3LT upgrade price for my 2015 coupe. I will just as happily do it again for any future purchase.

LRG is Limerock Green, an exterior color.

Which only came with the brownstone interior.

Incorrect. Limerock Green was available with any color interior although if you wanted it with Adrenaline Red it required color override. There were a lot of Limerock Green cars built with black and Kalahari interiors.

The only situation in which Brownstone was required with Limerock Green was the limited number of 2014 Premier Edition convertibles that were offered.

I had originally decided on the 2LT interior because I had chosen black as the color and thought it would make no difference. I wanted a LRG and found out that they quit making that color exterior. A local dealer still had an LRG with black interior but it was a 3LT. When I got to the dealer to look at the car they had both 2LT and 3LT interiors side by side. Compared this way the 3LT is way better. The 2LT looked like vinyl compared to the 3LT napa leather. I argued that I only wanted the 2LT but did like the car. After two hours they broke down and sold me the 3LT at the 2LT price. They didn't know it but after seeing the difference I would have easily paid full price anyway. If you are on the edge, find a dealer with both and compare. You will instantly see the quality behind the 3LT price increase. If you want to pay for this increase is up to you to decide, but do compare before you make that decision. This is a lot of money for the car in the first place so I believe the 1LT, 2LT, 3LT decision should be made on "in person" facts and information. Anyway you look at it these are fantastic cars and I would be proud to own any of them.

The 2LT works for me. I really though the price to move up to the 3LT was a bit steep.

If you appreciate a higher quality/premium feel to the interior of your vehicle, then there is no comparison (for me, at least) between 1LT/2LT and 3LT.

I sat in a 2LT vette at a local dealership the other day. I've only been in 3LT's prior to that day, and I can easily say that within 10 seconds of sitting in the car... it was immediately apparent the difference in quality with the leather on a 2LT vehicle as compared to a 3LT. The leather in the 2LT is much more "grainy" and does not have anywhere near the soft feel as the 3LT. All of the surfaces that are soft and nice to the touch in the 3LT are nowhere to be found in the 2LT. It actually even bothered me just from a visual standpoint, since I was so used laying my eyes on the smooth, non-textured Napa leather in the 3LT. Almost feels like it's not even leather IMO. The pure leather smell is also non-existent in the 2LT.

Granted, I guess you could call me spoiled since I'm used to the premium European leather interiors such as BMW and Mercedes. But I plan on spending A LOT of time inside my C7 and want to have the best/most premium experience possible.

3LT + Z51 + M7 for me :)
