Nitto Invo vs. Pilot SS
 

which ones do you guys prefer. Ill be running 345/30/20 for the pilot ss and 345/25/20 for the Invo. :flag:

The Pilot SS in that size is way too tall....Invos will do the job, but suck for any kind of performance use.

BTW .... There actually called: Nitto Invo

Probably not as good for traction as the Michelin Pilot Super Sport, but the cost is a lot lower.

The Nitto Invo is still a very good value for the money, and there are many members here using them on there C6s

really, my car has gone 10.90 on Invo's

The only Michelin SS tire that would work in a 20" is the 325/25-20...then youd have to go down in size on the fronts to make it work. Still worth it over the Invos.

which do you prefer. i would like to run as wide as i can in the rear but i dont want it to look like im running drag radials

I had INVOs on a previous car. They don't last long, pick up a lot of stuff from the road, and are scary when its less than 60 degrees out.

That said, they're quiet for as aggressive of a tire as they are, have impressive grip in the rain, are reasonably priced, and grip pretty well. I don't know about 600rwhp well, but there's not much in a street-able tire that does well with that much power.

its going on my daily and im only pushing 453. want something that i am going to have to replace in a month with good wet, dry, cold, hot road.

Love my Invos! Orders of magnitude better than the stock Eagle F1 Supercrap tire.

I'm going with the Continental ExtremeContact DW and I get them on tomorrow. I'm only getting fronts though as the backs will be OK for one more season. The Nitto's were my 2nd choice.

Im probably going with the SS but I have only been able to find them in the 345 that I want in 345/30 which I feel is to tall. Might have to go down to 325 so I can get 325/25.

To the extent you can find and get a Pilot SS in the size you need you should do it. IT is simply the best tire out there. The problem one runs into was already mentioned by the fella above. If you are putting down 600 then NO street tire is going to give you dead hook capacity...none. Get DR's if you want a tire to street that has SOME tread pattern and rating OTW spinning will be early and often.

In stock GS/Z06 sizes the PSS are about $1400 a set. Mine have at least 7/32ds of tread with about 12k miles on them. Even if Nittos are $400 cheaper, over 30k miles or so the actual cost is practically nothing.

Turkey....have you considered the Michelin PS2 ZP...standard OE tires on ZR1s, 427s, and certain Z06s. They are pricey, but they are also runflat and perform just as good as the PSS IMO. Then you can get them in the correct sizes for your widebody.

PS2 ZPs come in 285/30-19 and 335/25-20
