Yup. and the Z51 spoiler looks like someone took a boy racer wing out of a catalog and glued it on the back. The after market will provide better solutions than either one. That's what's on my C6, and I will be looking for the same on my future C7. I prefer integrated spoilers in body color, but to each their own!

Love it... The car looks much BETTER with it.

It looks kinda wimpy without it.

Not to discuss the merits of the entire package here, but do you like the spoiler? I am a aware that it serves a function in collaboration with the adjusted front air dam, but it dramatically changes the appearance of the car. The base look has a flowing line to the end. The Z-51 spoiler is aggressive. Which do you prefer? Would you order the Z-51 without the spoiler if you had the opportunity?

I have seen so many pictures of the car with two different spoilers and then one that I wouldn't call a spoiler. (like on a C6). What is what???
Are the spoilers on the Z51 the same as the optional 5ZU spoiler for a nonZ51?

I chose neutral because it really depends on the color. I don't drive very aggressively anyways. I may change my opinion though.

At least we know its wind tunnel tested and meant to work with the rest of the aero package, something an aftermarket spoiler probably isn't.

Prefer the base :yesnod:

Not in love with it but better than the alternative.

The car looks very strange without the spoiler. The third brake light sticks out way too much. With the spoiler that light blends right in.
I would not have bought the C7 without it.

:chevy

People who order the Z51 are ordering the best performance available. Deleting the spoiler would adversely reduce the rear downforce and adversely impact the handling. THAT WOULD BE DUMB. If you're willing to trade performance for style, consider choosing something else.

ah, there's always at least one who cant just let it go.

I prefer the Z51 spoiler vs base spoiler but I will keep it a bit tamer by having it body color and not black

I also have gone back and forth on this. I originally ordered the Carbon Flash, but then changed to body color. I thought with the dark paint there would be too many contrasting colors. Ordered CRMT.

Mine is AW so the spoiler would be in your face a bit too much, IMHO. So definitely going white with white mirrors

CRT was my other color or CGM. CRT mirrors and spoiler will look classy for sure. Like you I am not going for the aggressive look...

Okay, it's been a couple of days since I voted for neutral and I know that I cant vote again, but I've changed my mind to--yes I like it.

Dislike it and would remove it if I got the Z51 package or any performance package that has it. If the car really needs this type of downforce in the back, a wing would do the job much more efficiently (less drag) and would look better. As it stands, it will just be simpler to take off the entire rear valence panel, throw it on the side of the house, and replace it with an aftermarket piece.

Not feeling it...

Looks like it was glued on as it was rolling out the factory door. I prefer the understated look...
