Had some help washing the car today

My 4 year old daughter and 2 year old son absolutely love helping me wash the car. With help like this, I don't mind getting it dirty :yesnod:

If they travel, they can probably make a lot of ice cream money. ;)

Nice pics!

Hmmm....Little kids with small hands could really help with keeping my CCW wheels clean. :yesnod:

91LSMAN 08-04-2013 10:24 PM

Just don't let them go back and forth between the wheels and paint. AHHHHHHH.

My cousin, who is 11 now, when he was in preschool led the rest of the kids in washing the teachers car. LOL He kept telling them what to do and if the sponge touched the ground, he let that kid know how wrong they were. LOL

Your daughter has it right.... Your son however loves to put his hands on the car... LOL... In every pic your daughter has her hand behind her back or to the side. whereas that boy is touching the car in every pic... You have taught her well... lol.... Kids are a blessing... My daughter (12) loves to help dad clean his cars... My 14 y/o son loves to help turn wrenches on em w Dad... I cherish those times... I have a 22 y/o in the Navy who recently got engaged... They grow up Sooooo fast!! Thank you for sharing that moment.... Your car looks Fab!

You sir gave me a great idea. Kids are the perfect height to scrub the wheels.

I know you are proud now, but wait until they are both off to college or getting married. These PICTURES will mean more to you than you can currently imagine.

I do try to cherish every moment I have with them because I do know how fast it goes. I already can't believe how fast the last 4 years went. It normally takes about an hour to wash my car and this time it took about 3 hours because I was enjoying playing with them.

I got the hood online from LM Performance.

You're right. Look how easy it looks for him and look how she can easily reach way inside. I can never go back to doing it myself. :D

Nice pictures. Priceless and getting them to appreciate the corvette at an early age is awesome. Just remember when they get of age and ask for the keys, they can say, "we washed the car for you!".

strand rider 08-08-2013 09:31 PM

Those pictures bring the joy of the day. Thanks.

Pretty good attention span for kids that young.

There are some perks one never thinks about when considering owning a "special" car, a car built for fun is able to amplify the fun somewhat.

Thank you.

Yeah, I actually thought they would only wash it for about 5 minutes and then get bored and go play, but they kept at it the entire time and never got sick of it. Overall it took nearly 3 hours because we kept playing with the hose and bucket and getting each other wet.
