Go back and read from today posts on wheels and tires .... I'm showing the ones that the wheels that I own are to my knowledge the largest that can be put on a c5 without modding ....
You can read any thread that I've posted here in 2 years and never once did i ask a how to question ... I searched and I read ... Then guess what

They sell beer at both tracks ;). The 1/4 is a blast. If you can do the 1/8th mile you can do the 1/4 since the 60 foot is what makes your time. My car is nothing special anyway, just a Z with a small cam.

She is a scrub just a red Z ... Next time I get down to see Maxx ill send u a pm ....
I'm waiting on Maxx to hurry the Hell up and get his nasty Z going with his new 427 ... Can u hurry Maxx

BUT, when you tell people to search they get their panties in a knot.

It's also against forum rules. :yesnod:

Very repetitive sure. I guess it gives the forum some traffic. I've personally Googled every question over the years and usually find the answer. These cars have been out since I was 13. Everything has probably been answered by now.

oh1vette 07-31-2013 04:38 PM

Maybe some folks just like to chat:hide:

Half joking....I think many factors come into play, is the member new, are they computer savvy, too many conflicting results on a search, are the search results dated, and even they just wanna chat...like standing around the street corner shootin the sh*t with their friends....

To some its probably easier to have all the responses to thier question in once place than maybe sorting through search results with partial answers in several places....depends on topic I guess....

And really, if ya think about it, after all this time I'd imagine that any issue that could possibly come up has been answered before....that reduces this site to research with no interaction....

Anyway, BIG THANKS to guys like ET and those knowledgeable members that can and have answered all these new and repeat question....

After reading some of these comments, only one burning question remains in my mind. Who makes the best motor oil?

Well since you asked :D....

My heads came back from the machine shop monday.
My cam is shipping next monday and Dewitts still hasn't shipped my damn radiator and fans since my order on the 15th of this month. Everything else is already in place. Watch out for my build thread this weekend.

We will go out to the 1/4 after the 500 mile break in period and and a new set of Hoosiers

The real question is, how often should we change it?

Changing oil is old fashioned. Put a small hole in the bottom of the pan so that all you have to do is dump a quart in once in a while. Problem solved.

Not a bad idea. I'm hoping to swap in a 2001 LS6 so I can add a quart every 1,000 miles. This way, the motor will always have fresh oil and will only require filter changes

I've read that, "take your clicks back" before, and I do not know what it means.

Maybe each Tuesday you should post a question asking what it means.
