Emergency Brake Switch
 

I have a 2010 GS convertible. It started with the red brake symbol lit on the instrument panel along with a ringing sound . Everything finally stopped . However, now anything that you need to have the E brake on for to work won't because it isn't recognizing that it is on . It just keeps saying "set parking brake" when it is set. It happens when I try to use my exit seat memory, putting roof down etc. If the car is started won't work but if it's in the accessory mode it will work . Could it be a fuse or some kind of switch for the E brake ? Thanks
