Who names thier cars?
My wife likes to name cars. Our 71 was Miss America (it was red, white and blue and a world stomper). After that we had kids and the 4 door boxes had names like tuna boat, sardine can and Tillie. When the youngest got married and gone we got our mag red 04. She was promptly named Lola. (Song: What ever Lola wants, Lola gets.) She has decided on Cerese for this CRM C7. (Means cherry red)
Do you name your vehicles?:yesnod: |
Me? No. Wife? Yes :ack:.
|
Well for one, I do! My current C-2, (a Riverside Red 64 convertible, 327/365 HP model) is named 'The Redheaded Mistress' (because she seems to eat up any 'spare cash' that shows up from time to time.)
My C-7, (who I haven't actually met yet because of the fact that she won't be born until next spring, will be a Torch Red Z51 convertible.) She's already been named 'The Red-headed Mistress II' (after her grand-mother of course!) |
Yelp. And this new baby girl is delilla.

This is the same as asking, who is over 50 and who is under?
The older the poster, the more likely he names his cars. |
A number of mine are named: a Mediterranean Blue RR Corniche is Lady in Blue, an Arctic Silver Porsche SilverBox, a Radiant Silver Metallic XTS is SilverFox, and my Torch Red C7 will be RedHot.

What exactly is the point of the age issue?
|
Oh yes!!!
We had a chevy station wagon that started it......... OLD BLUE. My torch C5 was Lucy...an age deal but after Lucille Ball. My Night Race Blue C6 is Cindy because with black wheels it looks sinister. So now I've began thinking of a name for a White with Red interior C7 which suppose to arrive this fall.......... and Ideas? |
