People will still scratch the outside, perhaps even the cleaning crew. I've seen people put their kids on the hoods of cars and car shows to take pictures, with a sign that say "Please do not touch". It's sad, but there are too many low lifes.

It's not just $70K. It's $70K + a long wait just to get the car.

And if someone somehow damages the car while it's in the show room (zippers from jackets smack the paint while someone looks in... Kids running up to the car with toys in their hands ignoring ropes... People who think it's a dealer mule and don't car if they hurt the car... etc) then you get a car that you haven't even really taken delivery on that is already damaged.
