Have to stay safe and go CRM with black interior

Hi,
Ordering CRM, torn between Black or Kalahari interior. Kalahari looks tan in some pictures and much darker in others. Any suggestions? If you plan on getting black wheels and black carbon fiber roof the Kalahari interior may not go as well with the car. Black would be the better choice. However, as someone already mentioned black is too conservative and doesn't show enough contrast with the remaining interior. If on the other hand you don't get black wheels and roof the Kalahari looks better in my opinion. Tough decisions..... |
My CRM will have the Kalahari interior.
I actually didnt order the 3LT Kalahari because I dont want a light dash, I am afraid it will reflect on the windshield. The CRMS with Kalahari look great to me I saw the Kalahari at Bowling Green and I really liked the color. |
Just me, but I think the 2LT Kalahari looks very nice with the CRM exterior paint.
Just the right mix of tan and black ... I don't much care for the tan on the dash of the 3LT 2LT http://www.stingrayforums.com/forum/...y-interior.jpg |

The 2LT seems to have the right mix of Black and Kalahari for my taste. |
I don't think the Kalahari is available in the 1LT

Well, I checked the order guide ... Kalahari is only available on the 2LT and 3LT.
and I know the 3LT Kalahari looks like this: http://www.forcegt.com/wp-content/up...Interior-1.jpg |
Hmmm....very interesting. I thought the 2LT had the additional color on the doors (behind the handles), the passenger side between the air vents, and the outline around the dash as in the link below. Not sure why Kalahari seems to be different in the pics you showed.

What you are describing is the 3LT red & gray. 2LT is only seats, console & armrests. Kalahari & Brownstone are the only ones with full dash (and of course Black) That is what convinced me to pay the extra for 3LT Kalahari.

I ordered my CRM with 2LT black and nav.

Why is Crystal Red referred to as CRM? I thought is was Crystal Red Tintcoat and what's a Tintcoat besides $995 in cost? Is there a difference between Tintcoat and metallic or regular paint in the application of the car's paint? Just wondering.
|
Definitely the kalahari IMO.

My mistake ... Calling Crystal Red Tintcoat "CRM" is not correct.
It is NOT Crystal Red Metallic. It is a better paint that a standard metallic, and that's why it costs damned near a thousand bucks as an option! From now of forward, it should be "CRT" ... Crystal Red Tintcoat Agree ? ? ? |
