I was at 3400 on 10/9 update. Got call from dealer yesterday to confirm that I was now 3800 with a vin of 3925


NRB Z51 2LT With nav. Ordered on 8/3

I was 3400 also. My car was produced on 10/14 and is vin 4048.

I was told by my dealer that i was accepted by production, i ask him about the Z51 constraint since i ordered that, he said he did not know which is hard to beleive could you tell me if the Z51 constraint would effect my order RFDWR4.

I ordered mine on Sept. 25th, 2LT/Z51, and two days later the dealer informed me that a restraint had been put on Z51 production starting that day, Sept. 27th.

He told me that I missed it and I have to believe him. My car is at 3400 which means it's now waiting for a production week assignment. That could be this week, next week or what ever.

If your order went in before the 27th then you're probably ok, if not you'd have to check with some one who has more info on this. I wouldn't think the restraint wouldn't last more that a couple of weeks. Good luck.

If you are at 3400, you should be fine.

How long will the constraint on the Z51 be.

I haven't been able to find out. I think it's the vendor/s not keeping up the the supply & demand for Z51 components. I think GM was totally overwhelmed by the number of orders for Z51's.

Who knew? The economy stinks, right?

I was at 1100 on 9/20 and 3300 at last update on 10/9.

I wonder how much longer it will be for mine to ship and arrive at my dealer?

I went to 3400 last Friday, but my latest inquiry to GM said no status change, and to have "patience". Good things come to people who wait.

It was about three weeks from 3300 to 5000 at the deliver for me, maybe slightly longer but you are close...Good Luck

Do GM chat online. They have been helpful for me. Pretty slick really. They can tell you what your current status is in 10 minutes or less.

According to my dealer and Customer Service - if production code 3000 or higher Z51 constraint doesn't effect the order.

How do i fine out what production code iam at.

That is generally true, but not always. Case in point is what happened to me. I was delayed an extra month because of the carbon fiber roof option. I was at status 3000, ordered back in July. My car was moved to status 3300, ready to be produced, and then was moved back to 3000 for several weeks because (I guess) they ran out of CF roof panels.

That was not supposed to happen, because I was already at status 3000 -- but it did happen. So take what you are told with a grain of salt.

Just spoke to my dealer and he said he received notification that I was at 3400. Please add me to the list RDRZ96 in Florida.

Well it seems my jorney is about complete< Got the call from muezim that i will get my ride on the 6th<So ,If anyone is coming through Nashville on the5th B 4 Noon They are welcome for a free ride to BG, GM er and Dave have kept us almost sane, the last obstacle is to sell my 11 ZR1. I will miss the 638 HP for sure, but thats the price we pay.

And to GM ER, My offer still stands< come to Charlotte or e mail me an address and I will send you some NASCAR swag or FOX SPORTS shirts
