Daily Order Status Update
 

As suggested in another thread, I am moving the order status updates to a new thread. Please read the following information before posting. This is not to be mean, just to try to keep my sanity.

1. While I do work for GM, I have no connection to the plant, museum, or customer service line. You may get different information from them. I don't know if it's better, or worse, than my info. :crazy2:
2. My information is no different than what you can get from your dealer. I'm doing this just as a service to you. Your dealer is who you are purchasing from, they are there to help you. :yesnod:
3. I am doing this on the side, as a hobby, as a fellow Corvette owner and enthusiast. I just want to make sure you have the best purchasing experience possible. This is not part of my official duties for the company, so if I miss a day or two not giving an update, go easy on me. :D
4. Just as an FYI, this is the internet. By posting your order number here, any Chevrolet dealer has access to it, and in most cases with sold orders, it has your name, address, and phone number tied to it. Not saying any dealer would do anything with it, but I do want to make you aware. :hide:
5. I will update post #2 of this thread when I can, so you can always go to one place to see where your order is. :thumbs:
6. I have been assigned to a new position within GM, and I am currently in the process of relocating to another state. Because of this I will not have time to look up individual order status on a daily basis. I will do my best to keep the list updated. While I hate to do this, this has become a real time eater. My apologies in advance, and thanks for your understanding.
7. Please do not PM me for order status updates, or to be added to the list. That is what this thread is for. :toetap:
8. I am adding back into the list as current cars get delivered to the dealer. You must be at event code 3000 before being added.
9. I am currently not adding convertible orders until they begin to move past 3000.
10. I can not track Canadian orders.
11. Here is the list of event codes again for easy reference:

4300 Intermediate Delivery (Stingray in Nashville for Quality Check)
5000 Vehicle at Dealer

FYI - The tracker is currently not working for Stingray orders. Send an e-mail to faq@chevrolet.com with "Stingray Order Status" and your order number in the subject line.

(FYI, if your dealer does your paperwork, and delivers your car in the GM system before your car arrives at the dealer, it will immediately go to code 6000, and no longer be trackable in my system)

Nah, if I told people about it, they would probably tell me to "cease and desist" and send you to your dealer. :hide: , but in the meantime, it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission!

It would seem logical that GM would provide this information rather than the "track your order" bottom of their website. I've contacted customer support either by chat or telephone when I had a problem with my order and only gotten one reasonable answer and that was just barely.

Well,this is the first car my Dealer ordered for stock.I wanted to keep a eye on it.
My car will be the second,order # RDRP8N..

It's a very small Dealer too.

GM 'er , could you verify if what I was told today by GM customer assistance is true. They told me that on my order # QZTFKQ Ca , that I was still at 3000 , but I now had a TPW of 8/19 . Thank you very much.

Just left the dealership here in the UAE (United Arab Emirates), and just confirmed my vette ( Cyber gray with a red interior), and I'm suppose to get my order by late november early december.

When is the next round of allocations (consensus) that will move the 1100 group into the production queue? I thought they were going to do 1 consensus per month and then speed up as the production line gets going?

As far as I know at this point, the next round of consensus (where the dealer receives allocation) will be July 4th (I won't know for sure until the third). After that, the ordering weeks should start July 11th and 18th. The thing to remember is, there is no guarantee that an 1100 order will move anywhere. It depends on how many allocations vs orders the dealer has, AND how they prioritize their orders. Some of these 1100 orders could sit at 1100 until December. That is why I am not adding them to the daily update list.

I don't understand why your chart doesn't show any TPW's. There have been several that have posted today that they were given TPW's for August.

Super info. Thank. Do you have any idea when dealers will get their second round of allocations (understanding that maybe not all dealers will receive an allocation in the second round)?

I just got off the phone with GM customer assistance and was told I had no event code and no TPW. :eek: GM'er has me at 3300. the last time I spoke to customer assistance on 6-12 they told me TPW of 7-8 but couldn't get me the event code. The C.A. rep also told me Chevy has stopped issuing any info for TPW and event code pending them actually starting production. I bet they are getting tired of all the requests they are getting and Corvette Forum members are driving them crazy :crazy: :lol:
