OK,,, I know opinions vary,,,, so on and so on.

I THOUGHT I got a great deal on my car, but looking through the forums lately at what people think cars are worth,,,,,maybe not.

I've had 2 C4's, and wanted a C5

SO !!!

1997 6 Speed Silver/Black ,,,75,000 miles,,,,100% stock and unmolested,,,VERY clean car inside and out 9+

Let hear your thoughts !!!! :lurk:

What did you pay? What options are on it? Need some basics first....

Hard to answer your question unless we know how much you paid. :D

How can we say if you got a good deal or not if you don't list the price you paid? :willy:

andrec10 06-20-2013 10:04 AM

Moola Amount?

PNW Vett 06-20-2013 10:08 AM

As others have said, hard to say not knowing what you paid, but I would venture to say 12-14K would be a fair price. I say just enjoy it now. If you are enjoying it, it is worth every penny you paid for it. I like mine so much I have to remind myself all the time that it is actually worth about half of what my other two vehicles are worth, but I tend to take better care of it than I do them as far as keeping it clean and such.

Y'all need to read the post closer. Amount is there just no $ sign in front of it.

I must be lame, I sure don't see the price.
I see 9+ on what he rates the car and 75,000 miles.

Chuck, are you thinking the 9+ is what he is saying he paid? I thought that was a 9 out of 10 thing as far as condition.

Tastee Twirl 06-20-2013 10:11 AM

Doesn't really matter if ya got what you wanted nice looking car

I agree.

JaxEagle 06-20-2013 10:12 AM

Who cares. Just enjoy Corvette life.

FWIW, I might have overpaid by a little bit myself but it's no big deal. Don't sweat it.

Navybluevette 06-20-2013 10:13 AM

Someone once told me, once you buy something do not continue to check to see if you got a good deal, you will eventually find a better deal. Like said above to late to do anything about it now, just enjoy it.

I assumed 9+ was the condition as well.

If you paid betewwm $9&10k and it's in good condition then I think you got a great deal.

Coach32 06-20-2013 10:50 AM

If this makes you feel better....I probably overpaid....2001, head-up display, driver & passenger pwr seats, 9+ condition, 47K miles. I paid $21K, but in the scheme of things, I plan on keeping it for a long time, I appreciated how it was maintained and if I ever go to sell it, it will be worth less than I paid. :ack:
