I tried Zaino, Picture Heavy.

Well I tried my Zaino #2 yesterday and I am very happy with the results.
These pictures don't do it justice, I will try to get it in the sun for some more pictures.
The Zaino was really easy to apply and remove, Really easy, This is only 1 treatment so far.

So is Zaino more a polymer than a wax?

My last wax job just didn't seem to last.

Let us know how long Zaino holds up.

Looks great.....some of those pics really show the shine.

and......gotta love Pewter!!

I just wish the color had a cooler name..... :D

edit: Their website offers nothing about what this stuff really is.

Thanks, Yes I believe it is a polymer product, I guess this afternoon I can put a 2nd coat for an even better shine if I feel up to it.
I will let you guys know how it holds up.

I have used quite a few wax/Polishes over the years and I think this Zaino was the easiest to use. Time will tell on how well it holds up.

Looking that way, All the race stuff in the WS6 and being transplanted into the Z28, Putting the WS6 back for street use.

zanio is a polish. If your car is a dd then it will need to be applied more often. if not one coat a year is fine. It is hard not to apply more often because the shine just gets deeper and deeper. this car has 15 years of zaino and I could not tell you how many coats is on ithttp://i1343.photobucket.com/albums/...ps17c329e3.jpg

Waiting for TOQUE..... lol...

MSG C5 06-12-2013 02:24 PM

Looks great! Pewter and MSG are difficult to photograph and the results are usually a lot better in person.

I used Zaino on my wheels and as a final detail spray but use Adams polish and wax. The best way I can describe the result on MSG is "liquid metal".

Vetteman Jack 06-12-2013 02:24 PM

Looks great Bill. That Zaino sure puts a shine on the car.

Mr.Bill

held up real well for me - almost a year later and water was still beading:thumbs:

Of course I did 2 coats Z-2 then 2 coats Z-5 and of course with Z-6 between each....then topped with Z-CS

Although Mr Bill in the desert I'm not sure how you'll tell:lol:

Maxx_Z06 06-12-2013 02:29 PM

Zaino stuff works great! Keeps my TR paint super smooth and gives off the "wet look" all the time.

WetteVette 06-12-2013 02:30 PM

Frank and Evil_Twin both have beautiful TR cars with a Zaino shine. The more I know about this product, the more I like it.

It's not so much the cost of the product that has held me back so far, it's striping the beautiful shine I have now. That's how I interpreted their instructions.

I have never clayed my car, and it has six years of polish, waxes, polymers (RejeX) and glazes. It's surface is as smooth as glass. Can I apply Zaino on top of this?

:eek:Good grief.....this is sounding complicated....and expensive

:D

Fcar 98 06-12-2013 02:47 PM

They do not recommend putting it over anything else. Wash with dawn soap to strip it. I don't want to sound like a salesmen but they have great products.
