LOL at people saying the C7 didn't look like a Corvette. That's a dead ringer silhouette if I ever saw one.

I don't know but in that photo, looks wise, the red more than hangs with the white car behind it IMHO :rock:

I've had 2 of them. Trust me, it's special.

That doesn't mean the Vette isn't special either. They are just too far away from one another in so many areas.

If you really want to test it against something, you should test it against the new F12. I drove this one a few weeks ago. 730 HP / 509 lb/ft torque with a V12 engine that screams to 8500 RPM. 0-62 in 3.1 sec. 211 top speed. Been in production about 9 months now.

Just... plain... awesome.

The Vette is almost the same size as the new 911 (911's have gotten HUGE!).

Oh, no doubt, the Ferrari is a SPECIAL piece of work, no doubt about it. Not disparaging it in the slightest. Performance comparison will be interesting though :rock: :rock: :rock: Doesn't turn a $75,000.00 Corvette into a Ferrari by any stretch of the imagination.

It's really cool to see Chevy go after the elites. I can't wait for my C7!

The 458 is one of my all time favorite cars (hence my username) and yes it is very special!! And so is the C7 regardless of the price. Take away the price difference and you have somewhat similar cars that go about their business in slightly different manners. So to say "they're are just too far from one another" is really not fair....you can say that comparing a Ferrari to a Lambo as well.

That said I would hope to have a garage with a 458, C7 and a 2014 Range Rover Supercharged. That to me is the perfect garage.
