"Reduced Power" w/ NO codes and no communication

Hi all,
Now, I know there is a million threads on this but I really couldn't find one to match how mine is currently acting.

So here is some back story, I currently have the Traction control and ABS lights on (EBCM issue from what Ive read..it has gone off for days at a time and comes back). Anyway:

So today after 2 quick drives, nothing spirited or far, I start up the car and I get the Reduced Engine Power message. Power windows wont work, gas, oil pressure, and temp gauge do not work. (This causes a "low fuel" message as well because the gauge is reading empty.

I drove home which was 10 minutes way and the car ran 100% like normal. I turn the car on and off a few times (a thread I read said that could clear it out) but that didn't work. I then checked for codes and every module would just say "No Comm".

i left the car sit for about 10 minutes and now the car does not have the service engine soon/reduced engine power codes.

Any ideas on what I am looking at here? I'll admit the battery I have in their is junk and being replaced today or tomorrow, but could that trigger this issue?

Well,,,,,,,,,, it one of the following things.

Your BCM is /was wet or damp,, OR Your Door Control Module or seat control module is having issues because of a poor connection in the connectors.

Seeing how your windows dont work, pop out the rubber accordion tubes between both doors and pull the door wiring harness connectors up and out of the door A pillar. Disconnect them and look for bent/spread and or damaged female pins. If the pins are spread, it can cause this to happen! TRUST ME! Bend them back so they make positive connection with the male pins.

Check you drivers seat wiring connector for damage. Same deal there!

Bet ya that fixes it!

SHORT CUT! Open the doors and SHAKE the crap out of the rubber tubes. It sometimes causes the issues to go away TEMPORARILY.:cheers:

wow thanks let me check this out...could just an issue with the doors cause all these other "no communications" though? Everything else was showing No Comm, PCM, HVAC, etc. etc.

When my 02 Z had this issue it stranded me 200 miles from home on a business trip. It would CRANK but not run. The only way that I quickly figured it out was; It was hot out and I tried to roll down the drivers window.... It wouldnt work but when I opened the door, the lights on the door panel started working and I was able to get the engine to run.

I had 2 badly spread female pins in the power connector.

The bad pins cause the module to turn ON AND OFF rapidly and that somehow corrupts the serial data buss that ALL the modules are connected to.
