Introducing myself and my custom orange C5

Hi everyone,

I'm new to this forum and fairly new to Corvette ownership. I've been working (well more like coordinating) the transformation of my 2001 C5 here in the UK for about 7 months now. It's just about to be completed and so I thought I'd say hi and share some more pictures in the next few days.

There are quite a few component pictures over on the UK forum which will give an idea of the final look. But as you'll see towards the end of the work they stopped sending me pictures because they want me to see the car completed for the first time in person. That date has finally arrived and is set for this weekend. So unlike the UK folks, who like me, have been waiting seven months, you've only go to wait a few more days :-)

We've named the color Firepit Orange and it's an orange pearl with a ton of sparkle.

Love that color! If I was to do a color change, that's what I would go with. It's going to be beautiful.

I really like orange Corvettes!

IMO, Chevy should have made an orange C5. The color you have chosen is awesome - looking forward to seeing the finished car.
