Thanks, I wasn't going for top speed honestly. Just wanted that 8 second slip, this was our first time out tuned on the 200 shot this year. You guys will also find that as youre 60' gets faster you will lose MPH. That's how it always works. when I was cutting 1.5x 60's on the 150 shot i lost 4-5 mph going to a 1.36. But et'd 4 tenths quicker!

thanks. We honestly don't know what it makes Fran, but it did make 615 on a pretty happy dyno NA. Were hitting it with a .078 N20 jet (200hp). I don't see it making more than 850rwhp? All the guys at RPM seen the car, its full weight minus the axle backs and pass seat, and of course the wheels are a crap ton lighter than stock?

Thanks for the compliments everyone, it doesnt have axle backs on it at the moment, just dumped the exhaust under the car after the x pipe.

What was the reason why you went with c5 shafts instead of c6's?

I'm guessing the c5 axles are the fuse for the driveline. How many axles did it take and is this your best 60 ever in that car?

C5 axles are know to be stronger than C6(05-08.5).. Many prefer them other aftermarket axles bc they are strong enough to take the abuse but weak enough they can be the cheap fuse that breaks .

C5 axles are almost un breakable lol, Ive broke numerous stock c6 axles on the street! Ive never broken a c5 axle. No in car vids, ill try and get some soon for you guys, yes I have to use the clutch as it isnt a faceplated transmission, its all stock. Thanks!

- What lunching rpm for this 1.293 60ft ?
- What psi in rear tire ?
- Have you any "electronic box for retard" or all is in the tune ? (i have some LS1 nitrous friend who use a MSD retard system)
- Why forged piston... bc the stock one will break ? or for safe ?
- What shifting rpm with your cam ?
- Why electric water pump... bc rpm you put on it is over than the stock agree ? or for safe ? or for gain HP ? (have seen tech article who said no gain)
- Do you think this possible with C5 full stock driveline including rear (i know your C6 Z06 is stronger) and gearbox ?
- Is only 2000+ C5 axle are stronger ? (i think GM change from 2001... and i have 2000 :( )
- Is your "race tune" is your "street tune" ?

An electric water pump will free up some lost HP between the engine and the wheels. Meziere claim 11 - 14 HP. But even 5 is worth it to me. You can also wire them to pump while the car is off for better cooling between runs.

I have one on my LS1 Camaro, just got it b'c stock went bad.
