FNBADAZ06 05-02-2013 10:28 AM

F'n A !!!!!! Now that's what I'm talking about !!!

124 MPH in the 1/8th LOL .

And, folks need to take note that this was accomplished on 315/35/17 Hoosier's.
Many a person simply over tire their cars for drag racing purposes....the 275/40/17 and 315/35/17's are all that's needed to hook and trap 160+ in the 1/4.

Outstanding job, my brotha !!!!!

venomws7 05-02-2013 10:35 AM

Bad2thebone !!!!!! Amazing work from everyone involved and Congrats Jared for the record and sick driving man... :)

I'm assuming you had to run some sort of spacer to fit the Weld AlumiStars you have on the front ?

Any reason you went this route over getting the RT-S for the front as well ?

I have the 18" RTS wheels for the car, ran them last year. Im really not sure if the alumastars helped much or not? But they are 10 lbs lighter a piece! Used a 1.5" spacer.

thanks

Frans96ss 05-02-2013 11:44 AM

WOW !!!!!!! 10 lbs a piece lighter than the RT-S 18x4 (I'm assuming) ?
That just for the wheel, or did that also include the tire for the 10 lbs difference ?

1.5" adapter is manageable ....thanks for the info !!!!

Snake Bite52 05-02-2013 12:08 PM

Awesome shifting, tr6060?

Fifedogg 05-02-2013 12:09 PM

Thats Awesome! You should post this video on both the GTR and GT500 Forums LoL. I would love to see what they have to say. In fact you should put GTR and GT500 in the video description so more people can see what can be done with a nitrous Z setup properly with a good driver.

Thats just amazing to do in a 6 speed car!

darkbluez 05-02-2013 12:31 PM

Haha, Im sure there will be some haters, but oh well. Its actually an 06 car, still has the stock t56 in it.

whoa whoa whoa... factory short block? (Except pistons) so you're still on the stock crank, rods, and sleeves? Dang, I didn't think the factory sleeves could handle that much cylinder pressure. You’ve got to be making about 850whp? Absolutely incredible run!! And the launch....@#$%. you sir are a driver.

You should put a better explanation in your youtube comment. That and add some keywords so you will get more views...

Kind of what I was thinking. At 800rwhp, my highest trap was 149.2mph, in street trim at 3600 pounds with me in it. Stock wheels up front, Fbody wheels in the back with 295/45 tires.

Either way, car hauls ass and the OP can row those gears.
