First 6 speed Corvette in the 8s! Woot Woot!
 
First off, thanks for the Invite from Eric lancaster and Rodney at RPM transmissions. Went to Muncie Dragway last night for a wednesday night T&T, came home with some kickass results that I wasnt expecting! This year we went with a different camshaft from Brian Tooley Racing, and its really liking the nitrous! Heres a quick rundown of the mod list.

Engine

Stock shortblock 427, minus Mahle forged pistons (Assembled by me)
BTR Camshaft
Stock Heads ported by BTR/WCCH
Fast 102MM intake manifold port matched by BTR
Stock TB Ported by BTR
Electric water pump

Drivetrain

Stock suspension, rear, transmission,
Gm used C5 axle shafts
Mcleod twin disc clutch

Nitrous

Nitrous Outlet Race kit (single nozzle)
currently a .078 jet (200 hp)

Weight reduction

removed passenger seat
removed catback

Tires

315/35/17 Hoosier Drag radials on Weld RTS wheels

That is incredible. At the end of the day, there really isn't THAT much done to that car and yet, it turns those kinds fo numbers and can be driven to work. Sell it to me.

Yea id say most people think its a pure race car, Im going to throw the mufflers on it this weekend and just enjoy the car lol.

F'n A !!!!!! Now that's what I'm talking about !!!

124 MPH in the 1/8th LOL .

And, folks need to take note that this was accomplished on 315/35/17 Hoosier's.
Many a person simply over tire their cars for drag racing purposes....the 275/40/17 and 315/35/17's are all that's needed to hook and trap 160+ in the 1/4.
