i think i saw a supersonic blue z today and it was terrible!
it was a very light blue in the bright sunlight and was just an awful color for the body of a corvette!

http://www.prlog.org/11535670-carlisle-blue.jpg Should have called it "Off my period Blue" or "Haaaay! Blue." :D The Supersonic blue looks pretty bad ass: http://www.corvetteblogger.com/image...t/032010_1.jpg |

You should buy a color that you're happy with, but in my opinion, Supersonic Blue (SSB) is nice. I think my 3rd favorite color for C6s. It looks brighter in good light and closer to a gray in darker environments. Kinda neat.

IMHO, Jetstream Blue is the best blue out there. Followed by Lemans Blue Metallic, Supersonic Blue and Carlisle Blue.

Yes, it should be a color I like but hard to find a car the way wanted unless you buy new and order.
Here is the SSB in a few different lights... again, I like it, but if its not your cup of tea then I'd recommend finding one that is the color you like. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/atta...ez06carbon.jpg http://preview.netcarshow.com/Chevro...on-2011-hd.jpg http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-xZh1tZFkS4...oQ/s1600/2.jpg |

I'm sure whatever combination you want is out there and you just gotta wait for the right car to pop up. If its 'close enough' to the ideal package, that might be enough. Adding stuff like Nav or a different wheels is pretty easy. Almost everything on the car can be changed, but the paint is among the most difficult and most visible. I'd probably consider that one of the more important attributes to any car over any other option.

Are those factory wheels in the first pic I posted?
Here's a pic of the inside he sent me. http://i959.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps19b682e7.jpg |

I actually like Carlisle Blue. I like it a lot with red calipers and chromies. |
Supersonic Blue has grown on me over the years, but only the Carbon edition with the black wheels and painted CF trim etc. Otherwise, yes its a boring color. Carlisle blue is too "pastel" IMO. Like a cotton candy color.

Well my favorite blue is Le Mans Blue but I may be biased.

If they only would have made a Carbon Edition in LeMans Blue:yesnod: I would have one. |

Yes, they're painted spiders.
My favorite would be Crystal Red but apparently it was not offered in 2012. |
Funny...I get more complements on my SSB C6 Z06 than I ever did with my Machine Silver C6. There were very few ZO6's made in SSB that weren't Carbon editions.
Here's mine in bone stock form before I ditched the rockflats for Michelin PSS's http://www.fquick.com/images/vehicle...jpg?1334688528 |
