***New U.S. Made ZR1 Carbon Fiber Splitter $595 Shipped Group Buy!***

After several months of R&D we are pleased to announce the ZR1 Style Front Splitter from US1 Carbon is finally in production and available through American Hydrocarbon!! This is the first of many parts to be built for the Corvette.

**Coming soon: side skirts with rear flaps and rear spoiler **

Proudly made in the USA, we are an American owned and operated company - We do not outsource labor or materials to Mexico or Asia.

We are bringing back American built parts for the American sports car one part at a time.:flag:

All parts are 100% Solid Carbon Fiber, NOT Carbon Fiber over fiberglass. Manufactured with all epoxy resin, not polyester resin like some other manufacturers; Made from Prepreg Carbon Fiber and Autoclave cured. This production process makes a more consistent, stronger and lighter part. This same process is used in Aerospace and Racing. The splitter weighs in at an unbelievable 14.5 OUNCES before finish is applied - this is the difference in quality Autoclaved Carbon Fiber production.

Compare before you buy!! Final topcoat is PPG Automotive clear coat for UV protection and show-quality finish.

We are introducing this part with a group-buy for the First 10 units at the
Forum Special of $595.00 with FREE SHIPPING to the lower 48.

**After these ten are sold the regular price of $679.00 plus shipping will apply**

Question about the Weight...

I want to address a PM question that I received. The member asked about the weight being so light.

Carbon fiber manufactured correctly makes a very strong and lightweight part.

That is why it is used in airplanes, race cars and a host of other applications where strength and weight are a big factor.

The reason these are less than a pound is because the prepreg of the carbon cloth and curing in an autoclave is the best method to produce carbon fiber parts WITHOUT having to use fillers or a fiberglass backing which adds weight.

Every layer is solid carbon.

Almost all the other companies making carbon fiber parts are using a vacuum bag system which does not get the excess resin out of the material leaving you with added weight. Check out the weight of the other splitters out there for sale.

Is your process more prone to cracking or less being so lightweight?

The only cracking will come when you hit a curb.......which any of them will do.

Pat has always had great products and amazing customer service. Highly recommended (bought all my carbon fiber from him for my show car).

Pat - any chance of making the flaps for the front wheel to go in-between the back of the front wheel and the front edge of the skirts? I have been asking the previous vendor you used about this forever with no luck.....

Have all 10 sold for the $595 price? What is the pricing for the splitter and side skirt combo?

Do have an idea how much the combo will go for? I'm interested in the splitter, and I'd like to get the side skirts too. I just don't want to have to end up paying more by buying the splitter first then the side skirts later if you're going to end up doing a combo price that'll save more. You can PM the prices if you want. Thanks,
