Look what I drove to work for the first time
Finally got to drive my Vette to work :D It did get a little warm on the trip home so I still have to try and figure out what to do there, I may have to go back to the stock configuration and dump the e-fans :(

make sure you're front spoiler is in place, i had to add a 2" extension to mine to help cooling at highway speeds when the efans are doing nothing anyway.

I love the color . . . looks GREAT. I remember the first time I drove mine to work. I loaded it down with all kinds of tools because I wasn't sure it would make it there and back.

ha, redman you sound like me, sometimes i take my battery booster box too, just in case. you never know.
but i just bought a CTEK battery charger/maintainer from rockauto, to keep the battery up when it sits for awhile. |
Thanks guys  I did ensure I had everything to change a tire but the motor is running well and the diff is new (rebuilt), so I'm not too worried about those things but the heating up issue has me bugged :willy:

Make sure the foam is around the radiator to force the air through it.

......sweet!!! Car looks great, and did I mention I was jealous of your nice weather, and being able to drive your Vette.....just sayin'.....:D
Runs cool cruising; gets hot moving along fast......seems opposite of what it should be.....hmmmmmm. Which direction do your e-fans blow? Apologies if your cooling problem has been discussed in a thread, and I haven't seen it. Still a newbie ya know.....;) |

Still a newbie ya know.....;) Here's a picture of my fan setup, they draw the air through the radiator (I was going to say something about a good woman but thought I'd clean it up :D)... http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b1...ps3f85afb5.jpg |
Kona.....nice..... Good Women with Vacuum.....
Set up looks really nice, only thing that stands out is the tin around the e-fans might be limiting the flow to those two areas rather than the whole radiator. I may be seeing it wrong too.....:ack: |
