As a side note, when Dave Hill retired; they joked that he was the first person to crash a C6. And also the second person to do so.

I just read that on another site.. Thats one thing about these cars, if you catch a wheel on uneven or gouged pavement it will pull to that side really fast.

Any car will do that. Also, the C7 has narrower tires now, so not as bad as the C6.

But did they have to wound the blue one? Really?

Don't worry, here is a song called Blue, that sings about a BLUE Corvette to cheer you up. :hide:
Note** You will see that at the beginning of the video, KEEKS is being abducted by the Blue GM Flying Saucer :D

I don't think it matters what color it is - you know, it's kinda like the old saying - "they all look the same from underneath............" :D

Weren't you following the threads about the front "fangs?" Those are included per European safety regulations to keep bodies from sliding under the car when hit. So now the body flies up and onto the hood, where it is quite effectively held in place by the cheese grater in order to keep it from slamming into the windshield and breaking the glass.

GM is always thinking!

C7 has exactly the same width tires as the C6 base.

Same size as C6 coupe and vert. Narrower than wide body variants.

What day is Bingo? Please, give it a rest. Are you PO'ed about the Z06 valve issue. Is that what this is all about? You are becoming a real, true pest in the C7 Forum and myself and others are going to report your posts and ask that you are banned. Is that really what you are striving for?

After all we meant to each other, and now you're throwing me away. I guess that means I'm not getting my usual box of chocolates and a dozen red roses from you this Valentines day.

At least I can still count on BlueOx.

How can that be an "official" statement from Chevy Communications with grammar that poor?

"...the driver caught the inside tire caught..."

Seriously?

Monte just received a promotion. He is now one of the Editors in the Press Relations department.

He use to be in charge of tail light design.

Why is the spare hanging down so low on that early C4? An early attempt at an aftermarket extractor/diffuser.........?:D

Thanks. Seger is from Motor City, USA, and the song was the theme song for Chevy trucks in their commercials for a while. The C1 might actually be his

No clue. Imagine in 1984 the Chevy designers saying, "OK, here is the Corvette tail lights FOREVER. We better make them good!" I bought a 1985 brand new and liked the look of the rounded cube ones better when they appeared. Then I buy a 2007 and there they are again :willy:
