1996 Red LT 4 coupe for sale, price now $7500-sold

SOLD I sadly need to sell my car to make room for the next project. It is a a 96 torch red coupe, LT 4 with black interior. It is a consistent show winner despite having just over 100k on the odometer. It has had numerous upgrades including new interior, custom paint in the engine bay, headers, C 6 rims etc. Car is a real head turner. hate to sell it but...
NOW asking $7500. I'm in the Lancaster CA (high desert area) . I also have shop manuals, car cover, a bunch of spare parts that are included if wanted. I have replaced all belts hoses, new bilstien shocks, upgraded brakes with ceramic pads, lowered the rear, restored the Bose, 6 way seats (both) cut the air box, flowmaster exhaust (sorry it drones) tons of details I'm sure I'm missing.

Wow really nice car, great price. Who did your seats, and who did you get the covers from? What is your new project. Good luck on the sale, it's bound to go at that price.

rickslt4 02-15-2013 03:12 PM

Al Knock did the seats. Really get a lot of compliments on them. I have a 73 that I want to do. It's weird my wife really wants me to keep the 96 since it was our first vette but I just don't have the room and time for two vettes. This car is priced to sell, it is in really great condition and needs nothing. I showed it concourse so I had to keep it up (it always won first or second:cool:)

LT4 come only with a six speed !!

rickslt4 02-16-2013 08:58 PM

sorry I didn't mention it was a six speed as you could only get the LT-4 that way. I'm really having second thoughts.....

A guy is coming out tomorrow

Nice ride!

Listen to your wife on this. She is the voice of reason. I would consider your price as cheap at $7500.

What is the burning reason for the sale, really?

rickslt4 02-16-2013 10:52 PM

I have so much going on right now. I just finished building a homebuilt RV 7 and we are trying to fly the hours off, the 73, my G-8, work, fixing things around the house that I neglected while building the RV, too much....too many things in my life and I refuse to let this car suffer because I can't love it as much as I should. I do love this car but the 73 is my dream car...

vrone44 02-16-2013 11:39 PM

Well, I guess you know your position better than anyone. You have spread yourself thin and something has to go.

Such a shame. Someone will reap the benefits of all your hard work. I guess that's the way of the world.

That car will be sold tomorrow providing the individual has the eyes to see it.

Luck.

"Corvettes are like potato chips....you can't have just one!"
Listen to your wife.

vrone44 02-17-2013 09:25 AM

I just purchased a 96 Collector Edition from a forum member. Still in the process of being delivered. I showed this one to my wife and she said "Why don't you get it? Then we can have his and hers Corvettes."

BTW we are both in our late 60's.

vrone44 02-17-2013 07:20 PM

So, what happened today? Did you sell it?

rickslt4 02-17-2013 08:12 PM

Sold it today. Thanks for the help everybody. I hope the new owner logs in. It is his first vette and I told him that this forum was the best source of info around. Now on to the 73:flag:
