It's amazing how much better the C7 looks, without the tacked on Stingray badges, marring the beauty of the front fenders. PLEASE CHEVY GET RID OF THOSE STINGRAY BADGES!!! |

I agree. I think a lot will be getting the lower part painted like in this photoshopped pic, to me, this makes it look a lot better than the all black panel:
http://img96.imageshack.us/img96/6316/img7225n.jpg Some owners may decide to paint that lower valence in the body color. However, the factory will probably stick with black. A black valence: - encourages the eye to focus on the arched tail-light assemblies as well as on the downward thrust of the fender sides - denies the license plate any visual real estate on the body of the car; the body remains "clean" and the license plate is suspended separately from the car body Some examples in this photo . |
I Like both of them, Does anyone know the starting price?
|
They ALL look awesome... Especially the Black & Yellow, Black n Yellow

Someone ask Tadge if they would consider selling these mules for a way discounted price

Looks way better than with the whole bottom being black. GM should not be pig-headed and start listening to their prospective customers. If people would prefer to have the lower portion of the rear painted body color then they should at least offer it as an option. I generally like the C7 but the attitude that I perceive when listening to GM people discuss the car is that of arrogance. It as if they assume they know what's good for the customer. If 70% of customers would prefer to have the lower portion of the rear painted body color then they should offer it. |

You should have a coloring book that you fill in the colors where you want and that becomes part of the order sheet. Just like with every other car you can buy.... wait... :crazy2:
How about a big coloring style book with the outline of the car, and little stickers for the options you want. Then you just put the little sticker of what you want and give it to the salesman and hope for a gold star? :D |

Love the car, hate the taillights. Hope gm swaps them out either before production, or in subsequent years.
|
Really not digging the yellow with all the black bs going on, vents diffuser etc. It really looks like a poor man's attempt at making a Ferrari out of a c6 using scraps from foreign parts bins. The only thing that looks expensive or classy on it are the headlights. Didn't get this vibe originally with the red show car, but the c7 is not growing on me. Or maybe I'm overreacting because of gm's stance on ls7 failures I've been reading about lately and them basically giving the finger to c6z owner s like myself.
|
Wow that yellow one looks great........colors that contrast sharply with the black components are going to look the best.....like yellow and white! I'm really starting to like the back of the car.

I agree. When I watched the unveiling and subsequent hours afterwards I was blown away and I'm not a huge fan of red vettes. Maybe it was the camera angles and such. But weeks later its still nice but not worthy of a 25k upgrade from my paid for C6 Z51 base. I was planning to upgrade this year so will likely get a GS or even a preowned Porsche 997, having always admired the 911. It does seem GM designers took to many styling pointer from other models and brands to build this car. Seeing these pics of the C7 car on the street just doesn't have that wow factor. It will be interesting to see what the aftermarket brings....new rear facia/ front facia and wheels. |

I think the chrome strip in the grille looks completely out of place, blacked out would be better; maybe even body colored.

The blue one's for me! Just make it a Callaway.
Base 450 + 176 hp supercharged = 626. Works for me. |

The blue car appears to be an automatic as well... nice pics.

I'm definitely a fan of the yellow, but if that blue is anything close to Electron Blue, I think that will seal the deal for my wife to part with her EB 02 Supercharged Z06.
|
The yellow car must be a base car without the goofy spoiler. Also notice how plain Jane the all black interior looks. Not impressive looking at all with the door open looking in. They need to get rid of all the mascara around the tail lamps and vents it looks bad.

Yellow is sick. BUT those wheels have to go!!!

Ugly!

Thanks for the pics. Just returned from Las Vegas and Arizona this morning. Anyone ever driven the road from Oatman to Kingman, AZ?
I had a new Dodge Charger rental which was ok but it would have been greater than awesome in a Corvette. What an amazing part of the country! http://zuill.us/andreablog/wp-conten...Route-66-C.jpg |
oh yes! This will be mine

Too much black on the yellow car for my tastes. Body colored vents might look better. Blackened headlights don't do it for me either.
Just too much black/body color....black here... lets throw some black over here..uggh..looks too pieced together. So frustrated with some of the look as most of it is beautiful. Aftermarket is going to make a killing on the C7! http://westcoastcorvette.com/images/...large/1113.jpg |
stingray23 a/s/l any pics (nudes?)

The color of the car makes a huge difference on the C7. For me at least, the darker the color the better I like it. (I really am trying to like this thing)
The yellow on the other hand, reminds me of something that should be on an Anime cartoon or video game. Cant get on board with it. And, maybe this has been discussed already, what is up with that chrome strip across the front of the grill? |

I dis-agree. I really like the black accents on the yellow C7. that is what was missing on the C6 yellow vettes. They were DYING for black headlights. the C6R is almost perfect. Yellow with color matched headlights look a bit...plane. The black accents (headlights) and dark tint really bring out the yellow car. The C7 in yellow looks terrific!

At this point, I am not too fond of it. But I said the same thing about the C6 until I saw my buddy's 2005 in the flesh.

Will there be a chrome wheel option? The Yellow looks amazing but the wheels look somewhat less than stellar for as rest of the car looking so hot.
|
Yes the options brochure has been posted here in another thread. it is also on line on GM's web site.
