Wow. Yellow and Blue look great. Blue is not normally a color I am fond of but it sure looks good on the C7! Thanks for posting them!

That yellow really looks good. That and the Laguna blue will probly be very popular.

Gee :D how do you get the job of putting miles on a pre-production car? Nice to see the car in different colors. My 03 C5 was Yellow when most hated Yellow, butt I liked it a lot and think that the C7 looks very good in both Yellow and Syber Gray!

These have been spotted several times here, heading to the Yuma testing area, perhaps a better area for heat in summer testing :lol:

Yellow has always been on the short list for colors on my C7. These are the first actual pics I've seen of one and may confirm my decision-looks good! Thanks for the posting.

Looks like an HZH. :hide: Beautiful design on the C7. Homerun on the front view. Still having "trouble" with the rear/rear lights. And, no, I don't think they are Camaro like. Vents are passable, I guess. :leaving:

Look by the console door and you could see sound deadening material used, besides the fact that it's coming apart but thats what mules are for

I haven't been a big fan of yellow on a Corvette, but that really is the sweetest looking C7 I've seen yet!!!

IMO, not liking the stripes. At all.

none of these have the stingray emblem on the fender.

also noted the yellow does not have the painted strip above the
windows -- and the smaller base wheels

Yellow looks great except for chopping off the paint on th C-pillars at the targa hoop. Unfinished; almost jarring. Hope the final version at least carries forward like on the CF panels shown at the reveal.

Looks like an Italian exoticar in this pic , without the semi-ricey tacked on spoiler . Shoulda had a small active aero wing that flips up and down from flat across the rear of the deck ,across all C7 models , like on Audi's RS5 and RS7 sedans , to keep this broad shouldered look, which is hidden by the fixed spoiler. Missed opportunity.

Why would they wrap the mirrors in yellow vinyl?

Man, that front angle of the yellow sure reminds me of a BMW Z8...but not in a good way. I also don't like the shot from the back...too choppy with the black roof. Of course, just an opinion though.

thought Z51 models were getting carbon flash mirror covers - maybe an oops on my part.

I agree that the blue and yellow ones look terrific, and I've absolutely never liked yellow Corvettes in the past. The smaller spoiler cleans up the rear a lot too. :cool:

See, I think the more I see cars with and without the spoiler, the more I think the spoiler is needed. Looks naked without it and the center stop light just seems to be too pronounced without it. Amazing how a spoiler on some cars is not noticeable and on others, changes the whole look of the car.

I'll admit the current spoiler looks tacked on, doesn't seem integrated very well with the car, but I think it looks best with it on. Still need to see it in person really before can decide.

Too much black on the yellow car for my tastes. Body colored vents might look better. Blackened headlights don't do it for me either.

Just too much black/body color....black here... lets throw some black over here..uggh..looks too pieced together.

So frustrated with some of the look as most of it is beautiful.

Aftermarket is going to make a killing on the C7!

I agree with everything you are saying. The DC Auto Show has started and I'm planning on getting a good look next week. I'm sure it is going to be a cool car but just does not "flip my switch" yet.

I agree. I think a lot will be getting the lower part painted like in this photoshopped pic, to me, this makes it look a lot better than the all black panel:

I didn't think the C7 was going to be making an appearance there. Please correct me if I'm wrong................will buy tickets and be there in a heartbeat if so.

I agree. I just don't understand all the attraction recently to black wheels on these otherwise beautiful cars. Everytime I seem black wheels on a car, all I can think of is the old days, when if you saw a black wheel on a car, it meant there was a sad and lonely wheel cover laying on the side of the road somewhere...:ack:

Thanks for the pics. It is funny how we all have our color preferences. I thought the yellow looked horrible and the darker colors better. I guess all the vents everywhere make the lighter colored cars look a little too "boy racer" for my taste. I look forward to the test drives and performance results.

I gotta stop looking at pictures of the black one...or I'm gonna do something really stupid this fall...:D

The only thing I can't stand about the car is the wheels.. they look cheap. Nothing HREs can't fix I guess

Thanks for posting the pics but the more I see these the more I am getting bored with the cars design. This new C7 is not a redesign. There is so much C6 in it that it seems like repetative (squared off) design.

:iagree: There is nothing wrong with Black and Chrome

X2 and there should be a separation between the tail lights on each side just like how the c4/4/6 and prior. There is something off about that wide strip of tail lights on each side? And they can do without the 'teardrop' shape on each side of the tail lights.

I agree!! There is a reason chrome is the #1 finish for the C6. I'm sure chrome will be avail for the C7 too.

I owned a yellow C5 and own a yellow C6 (I like yellow) but I wasn't too excited about how the yellow looked on the C7. My choice was Cyber Gray.
After seeing the reactions on here to the yellow, I guess I'll have to see one in person before I make the decision. Maybe I'm missing something?

I think this car on the street in the flesh is going to look excellent in yellow.

Lots of thumbs ups on the yellow. Why? IMO there's way too much matte black trim going on. It's on the hood, the side vents, the vents below the side back windows, all around the tail lights and of course the rear bumper is matte black. The roof is gloss black. That's a lot of black going on. Finally, the interior is black on all the cars. So the car needs a light color, basically yellow or white, to provide contrast. Thank goodness they didn't put black wheels on the yellow car. The blue car is flat out ugly. Not C7 hating...just nitpickin. How about a black delete option GM? As usual just one man's opinion.

They look good. I would love to see them with better wheels on them.

The yellow car would look good with a yellow and black interior. Even on the Jay Leno video Ed Welburn said yellow leather would be in the place of the red leather on the dash of the red car if it were a yellow car.

I think the rear end may look a little better with some of the black taken off. Anything that can make it look a little less "busy" back there may help more people like the rear bumper better.

Are those horizonal reflectors or lights half way up the rear bumper? After looking at the pic below i think i like it better with those gone also.

i did not like the c7 when it first appeared in red.

imo imo i like the silver/grey and the yellow c7, so it must be the color for me. the rear treatment, i'm hoping it will get more evolutionary in a hurry.

the C7 mechanically is awesome! i would think the z06/zr1 should be lights out!

I've noticed on most of the C7's i've seen, the rear spoiler does not fit flush up against the top of the rear deck lid where the hump dips down on the sides.
