Does your dog ride with you?
I have no problem with my dog, a Golden Retriever, riding in the back seat of my pickup, but I haven't allowed him in the vette...he sheds too much, and his size is almost too much.

Same here. The dog is allowed in my pick-up and in my wife's Land Rover LR3. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER in the 'Vette....
|
I have a 90 pound Golden Retreiver that likes to move around. I could cover the seat for him, but he really wouldn't fit that well. I have two other cars that he can ride in.
|
He loves it!
My dog loves the Vette; it is his preferred car. He is a 25# german pinscher, very short fur. He prefers to perch on the center console looking out the windshield. For longer trips he will curl up in the back.

They both (Golden and a Golden/Border Collie mix) ride, but one at a time. I just vaccum afterwards.
She always hops in the wrong seat. http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/...ps6b2ccd1c.jpg |
When he was little, he could go along...

I have a Golden and theres no way its riding in the car, truck yes.
|
Yes I let our 2 Yorkiepoo's ride in the vette. Samson the male loves it. He was always in the car in all the parades I was in. The little kids were always shouting "look at the little dog". The other guys said I got more looks than their cars did. I haven't been in a parade with the C6 yet, so no pics.
|
Not in the Vette.
|
I have a 50 lb boxer and a 80 lb German Shepard that I take to the dog park (at the same time) all the time in the vette. That is what happens when it is your only car. They fit in there a lot better then you think. Yes, it gets vacuumed out constantly.

Ally has gone several times in the Vette. Good thing for us, she is a Cock A and doesn't shed. I do cover the seat and armrest console with a towel so the nails don't dig into the leather.
http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/x...withshades.jpg She also LOVES to ride in the boat: http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/x.../DSC_07422.jpg |
I take my oldest boxer in every vehicle i own, including the c6, she goes everywhere loves to go very fast, the track wont let her in:(
|
Sometimes. He and the car mach pretty well. Vette now has a black top. He still matches. http://i1207.photobucket.com/albums/...Jakevette3.jpg He is Australian shepherd and Australian blue healer cross. He is 5 colors.
|
I'd never let a slobbering, sharp nailed, furry animal in any nice vehicle that I owned. Never!
|
My Golden [the pup in the avatar] rides with me anytime I want. Sure, I cover the seat and console but that is not a problem. She sits high and proud and gets a ton of looks from other drivers. If she sheds a few thousand fur pieces, so what. She is my baby and can do no wrong.
Emma weighs 100lbs and just got way too big for the show ring, although she is from two national ring champions....crap, if she can and does sleep in bed with me/us, why not ride in the car...!!?? |
my little Cavachon does not shed - -but I hate cleaning all the nose prints off the inside of the windows.

Flinging slobber. Drool. Scratch marks on the door. Seat punctures. Claw marks on the console. Dog hair all over the car. Piss dribble on the seats. Dog poop in their butt hair where they sit........Uhhhhhhh........I think not.

He's been on the boat a few times, but not in the vette...even with the top off that would be crazy...ever seen the movie Marmaduke and the scene with the Mini? My Dane, Samson, is TALL! LOL
