2006 vert price opinion?
Hello Experts. On vacation in Florida and found a 2006 Monterey Red convertible 6 speed with cashmere interior. Under 8k miles. 2LT package. One owner car at a dealer. Car is completely stock and clean.
Asking $36K. I think it is high. Offered $33k and no counter offer. I walked. Thoughts? |
Z51...power top...???
$30k tops. |
Too much, I think. My car is totally loaded and showroom condition for $29k. But it had 23,xxx miles.
|
Those low miles command a premium but I think your offer was good..Did you leave your number?
|
Where in Florida?
By the way, I left Cleveland in 1968 to go to school. Beat LeBron to Miami by quite a few years  . |
Since it's middle of winter I would've offered $28k take it or leave it.

Fair offer:thumbs: Not good or bad, in the middle range for an 06 car with 8k miles. Bought mine 18 months ago, 2005, M6, all options, convertible with 21,100 miles for $31k. It had all my must haves ( cobalt red leather, 6 sp, convertible, low miles)
Good luck:thumbs: |
That $36K price is bang-on . . . up here in Canada :(
|
Paid 36k for my 7100 mile JSB coupe last Friday...2010 3LT A6 NPP...I think they were quite high.

Keep in mind this is a vert.
I do agree. I think the price is too high. My car is an 07 an looks like the car in question. Mine is a3lt with z51. I paid $36.7k three & a half years ago. I think your $33k offer was more than fair. |
Very fair offer, but no more than that.
|
Just an FYI - bought my '06 monty red in February 2011 for $29,995 3lt/pwr top/f55/a6 no nav with 16K miles from a dealer in Minnesota - middle of winter so that might have been the reason for what I thought to be a low price at the time.

I paid $34k nearly two years ago for a pristine like new 2007 lemans blue Z51 3LT paddle shift 6 speed Auto convert with every option but two tone seats, still under factory warranty and only 2,751 miles on it. |
