C-seve-no

How much of a loser does someone have to be to still be trolling in the C7 section when they don' t like the car?

And lastly, ... noticing the bucket he was driving while disrespecting God's name, ... I'm pretty sure he can count on that situation not improving anytime soon ...

I can certainly understand the guys excitement, and I agree there are other words that could have been used instead of what he said, and I'm not making an excuse, I certainly would not have reacted that way. But everyone is different and believes different and reacts different in all kind of situations. So we should not Judge the guy either. Not our place. I'm just happy that he was in the right place at the right time, and was thoughtful enough to video the Awesome C7's and share them with us.
Peace

Dude, I saw that too and it, well, it doesn't "worry" me, but it certainly comes across as cheap.

I KNOW they're not in mass production yet, and that's all fine and dandy, but yeah, I saw those lights flicker, and NO, it wasn't this cat's camera...

This sucks! Can't open the video for some reason, must be the iPad. I'll try again tomorrow from the desktop at the office.

that thing looks great in black.

Centex 01-25-2013 12:40 AM

yeah .. im liking black (whole car) more and more .. Im sorry I have looked at the C7 alot - and i love it . but I agree with most when I say there is TOO much black .. there needs to be a comprimise - like on the c6 - there is still a fair amout of black/ plastic - which ever ... but those panels go too high on the c7 rear - JMO ..

But I'll reserve judgement till I see it in person/ showroom

Buck-I 01-25-2013 01:43 AM

Dunno if its something about the C7, but I am actually starting to like black wheels.

(Which probably means they are about to go out of style)

JustinStrife 01-25-2013 02:56 AM

Take away the crap music, and get rid of the language, and you've got a winner.

Or just do what I did, and have it on mute and look for the visuals only.

I liked the video a lot more when I just shut the sound off. A vast improvement.

MSG C5 01-25-2013 10:21 AM

The blue and black cars look to have the Z51 options, however I thought the CF roofs had body colored side trim to match the roof line. These all appear to be full CF, or were those the transparent roofs?

This is also the first time I've seen the base, non-Z51 version (red car).

DougSilver 01-25-2013 11:09 AM

Fun video although it would have been nice to have gotten more shots from the front looking back. One thing I noticed from seeing these in a more "real life" video versus auto-show photos is that the car somehow looks like 2 designs spliced together, with the splice occurring in almost a perfectly straight line just in front of the quarter window. Because of this the overall design does not flow as naturally from front to rear but, rather, looks like one group designed the front, another group designed the rear, and they came together at the quarter window.

bladex10 01-25-2013 12:03 PM

Dat black one.

Actually it has a lot to do with that "cat's camera." All LED tails flicker (actually turn on and off), for the most part our eyes aren't capable of detecting said flicker because it's so fast but when filmed it becomes apparent. It's because of the light output refresh rate is different than that of the video recording and thus you see a "flicker" of sorts. Just take a peek at any episode within the last few seasons of Top Gear and you can see even in "high end" cars there's a flicker. Rest assured though, this flicker has nothing to do with "cheap" manufacturing and everything to do with the camera used when filming.

Now I did say for the most part but for some people this flicker can be detected either looking at them head on or by using their periphery. I'd imagine that would be rather irritating if you could notice the flicker while driving around.

Exactly, it is caused by the frequency or frame rate of the recording device, which captures the "flicker" that our eyes can't.
To think that they're going to sell a car with taillights that flicker like that is laughable.

Cool vid and I finally saw where I suspected they would put the back up camera sensors. I am digging the red.

mo-shy 01-26-2013 03:07 AM

thanks for the video, It's ugly:ack: and it look fake on the street. I think the end of the car is awful .even the tire look small or somthing wrong in the rear end

Your minority opinion. Looking at the video the black wheels look a lot better than the boring silver wheels. I also noticed the roof is all black and not partial body colored.

What was that god awful music?

I must have missed that opinion poll.

Definately my opinion, just as your post is your opinion.

To each his own.
