Anyone see the blinking lights on the red one at the stop light? hopefully that's a glitch of the camera and not something electrical!! Either way i'm sure it'll be fixed by production release..

Thats the LED. I've noticed when filmed or a pic is taken, LED's flicker like that.

I noticed the blinking lights also. I though it was just the camera making it look that way.

It is simply the refresh rate of the LED lights are out of synch with the shutter of the video cameras we have seen footage from.

Without the back panel body color, it makes the rear end "look" a mile high, even though it isn't.

This is why the black and the grey C7 vette's look better to me... the rear "looks" more integrated.

Painting a portion (not the whole thing) of the black panel body color would look better to me, kind of like the C6, which only has a small section of black.

Lowering the new Stingray is a must for me...that joker is riding high off the ground

I think his video was spur of the moment and kudos to the OP.

Solid color back end would make a C5 look skinny..

Looking at the video again... you can see the resemblance of the stingray concept in the taillights and how they "merge" with the rear fender line. It looks like it draws inward.

Overall, that rear would look much better without that glossy black bottom. Looks to busy especially in a color that is not dark. Also, I think I like it better WITH the spoiler. She needs a drop, for sure but has always been easy. Black wheels look hot too!

If i end up getting one, it would be in gray or black.

As I said earlier.. I think it's the too much black in the rear. The black car doesn't "look" as high as the red and blue C7's.

I think the black and grey colors are going to be the hot sellers, and this is only one of the reasons why.. it all blends.

That's an artifact of the digital video... the LED's do flicker at probably 60hz, not really noticeable with the naked eye, but it's not synched with the framerate of the camera.

I recall reading the exact same complaints about the C6. People were used to the wide butt of the C5.

I noticed that too when the black one's alarm was set. I've been wondering how they setup the turn signals, doing them amber will allow the US & Euro version to use the same light assembly.

More like test cars. I imagine they are putting them through real world environment to see what they can catch. Especially kids with camera's and Youtube accounts.

I think it will look better painted same as body color. In black look like the car cut in half from a distance. Half to see in person to make a real judgment.

BTW... Killswitch IS music. They have, in a way, took rock/metal in a whole new direction with new elements in their riffs and harmonies.

I found the video on Youtube this morning.

In an emergency stop, the adaptive LED brake lights on the new Cayenne models pulsate to alert the traffic behind more quickly to a critical situation.

Painful to the eyes and ears.

The content of the video was exceptional. Great work! But, I would have appreciated even more if the person who shot the video more would have just turned off the music so that we could hear sound of C7s when they start from the stop.

Also the video was too jerky giving motion sickness watching it. The person shooting the video should have done a walk around. That would have been cool.

Edit: The red shows Orange hues in sunlight. Looks real cool. Or was it Orange in real life?

Your minority opinion. Looking at the video the black wheels look a lot better than the boring silver wheels. I also noticed the roof is all black and not partial body colored.

I'm pretty old but I liked it.

Not that new to me, though. Uriah Heep did stuff that sounds halfway between that and Queensryche in the early 70's.

Back to topic -- once again those tinted targa panels look horrible with the painted C-pillars. I am all in favor of ditching the halo effect that has been with us since the later C3's, but having the paint just stop suddenly at the door-line is very jarring...

And count me in as a vote for the body-colored lower rear -- I keep going back to Keeks' CAD and Blue Ox's leaked manual darwings when we got our first correct views of the butt -- no shiny black paint and I liked them better...

Love that Blue. Cars look great but still don't like the tail end.

Its funny EVERYTIME in the history of posting vids on the net, theres always someone complaining about the music..pointless, nobody likes the same music. I guess everyone has to tell their opinion on the subject. Quick Q: what music would have been ok?? none?...boring.

Anyway, aluminium/chrome doesnt look good on the C7. Black or any darker color/tone is the way to go.

Black is badass, blue is tits but red/alum wheels just look bad.
