F/S - Real Carbon Fiber Roof and Halo Panels

Real Carbon Fiber, Quality is Top Notch, Beautiful Black/Grey Pattern with Depth and Clarity. If you have seen a piece, like the radiator cover, from CCA, than you know what I'm talking about. They are made by Halltech. They are a perfect fit. When I first bought my 2005, Precision Red Vette, I started to customize with Carbon Fiber pieces under the hood, but after spending a lot of bucks, I realized that Precision Red and Carbon Fiber was not the look I wanted. If you like the Carbon Fiber Look, here is your chance to be really unique at car shows. (shoulder piece right behind top panel). I'm asking $1800. for the Roof Panel and $750. for the Halo Panel. Or OBO. I do remember the vendor recommending a professional install with 3M Adhesive #8515, #8227 or #8115. You pay shipping costs( I'm in 33410 zip). I will pay out of my pocket the cost to insure these pieces against damage/theft while in transit. You can contact me here, bradmarca@aol.com or 561-251-8614. Yes, I will sell separately. I can send photos to your email/phone.

so these are glue on panels, not replacement pieces?? (the halo specifically is what I'm interested in).. GLWS..

Yes, these are glue on panels. I will have to get back to you on whether you take painted panel off or just glue c/f panels to painted surface. I do not have any written instructions from the vendor. I can send you pics to your email if you call me or email me.

Not sure but doesn't really make a difference. When you put piece on current roof or halo, you'll know right away by it's sizing. The vendor recommended a professional install because working with adhesives can be very tough if you have no experience. If you want a perfect fit, have a pro do it. Can't cost too much, I'd say around $100.00 or less because very little labor involved. If you have to remove the painted factory panels, I would do this myself to save money on install labor. I'd use adhesive remover and work slowly. Also, the halo may not be glued on. There are bolts/screws to remove halo. Brad

I have real carbon fiber roof and halo. The oem painted roof panel was totally stripped down and the carbon was laid over the frame making it extremely light weight. This ,ought be the same type of install. A high end custom shop out of Chicago did my pieces.

GLWS!

Did you ever find out if these are a panel or a cover?

Let me see if I understand this correctly.

-No idea who vendor is or manufacturer
-Little fuzzy on install
-No pics (in this thread)

Just posting to help you out, there is a vendor that sells the roof panel in carbon fiber for $389 new so you may be over priced and thats why it isn't moving.
