Guess Cyber Gray is out the window as a color choice. So many on here want it. I don't want to see myself coming and going. Kind of like I do Honda Accords ............ :ack::rofl:

I voted wheels too but don't think I would be in a hurry to mod anything. I would be too busy racking up some serious rode miles. :D
|
I voted, Other: The only thing I would do is install a 'skip-shift' eliminator the second I got home. (That is when they become available.) This would make driving the new 7-speed manual transmission more enjoyable. I have added the CAGS eliminator to every one of my Corvettes since they began with the 1-4 CAGS. I get around 20 miles per gallon in city/highway driving and over 27mpg on the highway. (As my password indicates, I have a Z06 with the 427.) It is a 2008.

Tint and clear bra and a CAGS eliminator if they still have that stupid 1-4 CAGS.
|
I'm waiting for the high HP (Z06?) version so based on what I've seen with the interior options, very little.
Perhaps some new wheels, depending on what the stock Z06 wheels look like, however I'm partial to deep dish styles. Maybe a different exhaust depending on what the stock high HP version sounds like. I would definitely add some Lloyds floor mats and cargo mat and then have the windows tinted and an invisible bra installed. Maybe an embroidered hood liner for shows. I spent a lot of $$$ on my C5 mods and I would rather put that money into the high HP version of the C7 and then just upgrade every 3 years with new models based on OEM improvements. |
I already voted, went with a wheel change, but after thinking about it, it is really sad that we are thinking about modifing it before it even hits the streets! Totally understandable though considering that GM doesn't seem listen to it's customers

Tint windows
Remove Corvette script/text from rearend Remove Stingray badges - replace with custom 'Z51 Club-Spec' badges  Finish painting the front grill (Carbon Flash) CAGS eliminator (if needed) Install harness bar & 5-point harnesses Head to the track |
when im able to get one hopefully next year...drive it, then make it faster lol
|
I'll try to remind myself, no mods, no mods, no mods......

I was thinking full Caravaggio interior, HREs, akrapovic titanium exhaust, and katech power upgrades.
Or maybe just knock it all out with a callaway package. Or is that a bit much for a z51? Lol |
New Lloyd's mats and my Escort 9500ix are all I'll need to do.
|
Wheels
Anybody know what the offsets for the F/R are yet? Or how much more tire it will take? Tint 30F/15R Lowering All Corvettes look better lowered! :D :hide: Mild to Wild or B & B Fusions Remove rear crossed flag I'm sure I'll think of more later |

There are plenty of members who keep their cars bone stock. And that's cool—it's their car. But there are load of folks who have boxes of parts stacked in the garage before they've even taken delivery, and can't be cured of the "mod bug." Over the last couple of days, renderings have started to trickle out, and we're seen everything from a convertible, to a round taillight version, to versions sporting sexy HREs. So if you were going to mod your C7, where would you start? Take the poll! there is the Cyber grey one on display there is the Jay Leno Z51 on display And there are lots of other professional shots, NOT photoshop, but true shots of the car I cant seem to get a handle on how nice this car is when the 19s and 20s are on....the cyber grey still seems like it has 4 inches of wheel clearance and the Z51 seems to be almost snuggled lowered looking....I love the lowered look and that would be my first move...but the Z51 seems to be tighter in the wheel wells. |

twin turbo!

If the ecu really uses public key encryption there will be no tuning without a standalone, (unless GM gives out the decryption keys, not likely since they went though all the work to encrypt it....)
|
that's what they said about the v6 Camaros... and they were being tuned around a year later
|
36" lift kit
38" Super Swamper Tires Chevy Vega body kit drum brakes - screw new fangled disk brakes quad turbo 2000 psi, just like the fuel injection |
And I'll convert it to diesel, and run the exhaust system through the roof so the exhaust tips are a good 3-4 ft. above the car. Also, I'll add a snorkal for the intake just as high, going through the right fender. That way, I should be able to get through some really deep mud and it will sound like a monster truck.
