Guaranteed there will be an aftermarket replacement housing with round taillights for this car.

If they put those kind of lights on, there would be a bunch of corvette purist bitching about the CAR THEY TOOK THOSE LIGHTS FROM.

BuddhaZ06 01-14-2013 02:16 PM

Very daytona prototype looking. Live it

lottavettes 01-14-2013 02:20 PM

The round ones are history....the rectangular ones go with the lines of the car .

There are still people whining out there for the 'hidden head lights'

gimmeabreak

Amen except they're not really rectangular either, but I love them and they do match the lines. Round would look so dated and out of place on this car.

I mainly wanted to make the diffuser area body colored but many want round so here you go.

More colors with and without stuck in the past lights.

Now that looks good. It definitely needs something to break up all that gray on the lower half of the rear on light colors

Hopefully someone from GM manages to come across this image and realize what could have been...

Close - I like the lights, especially if they blacked out when not on, but not the exhaust and I think there would be an issue of clearance on the top 2 pipes inside the trunk area and clearing the axle. Someone mentioned just using 2 pipes, that might work. Hell, almost any shape of the tail lights would look better then the ones on the car!

Someone also mentioned that this gives all the after market companies something to do! :D

Why wait - do it now!

nvusgt 01-14-2013 02:58 PM

Oh my god, am I the only one ho thinks the blue PS needs to be shot and burned? The lights are eh at best and the exhaust...wtf is going on? I'd dare say its worse than the current C7 and that's saying a lot because I think it also looks bad.

KLRBEE2 01-14-2013 03:08 PM

Those round ones look hideous!! Evo, Supra...whatever; they suck!! Leave the current ones alone. They go well with the car. I bet when seen in person it will look a lot better than what ppl think. Move on people!!

I like the round lights and I like the fact they got rid of the drooping eyelid corners..:flag:

I wish GM could have figured this out.

I would buy a set of aftermarket round taillight housings in a heartbeat. I love the C7 EXCEPT the taillights.

DrunkPenguin 01-14-2013 03:22 PM

Round lights look ridiculous on this rear-end.

Let it go......

But I do like the two pipes look!!
