I should have watched a rerun of The Big Valley. At least Linda Evans has a nice rounded, fleshy rear unlike the flat, boney rear on the C7.

I'd give it a 6....Like others said CORmaro. I was disappointed with the looks but techno stuff is right on....then again let me see it in person...better yet drive one.

9. Don't understand the fixation on tail lights C2, C3 and C6 were the only models with 4 round lights. I don't even know much about the interior yet and I'm sold! Rolling pennies up now!

Don't like the rear tail lights!

Don't like how long the front is, too much like a C4

I'm thinking the Z model will look better!

Based on the launch vid;
I like the profile look, looks aggressive, but I find the overall design very gimmicky and tacky with all those black scoops, gills and that carbon fiber roof.
I also absolutely hate the posterior, way too many lines running in all kinds of different directions, the big Trans-Am crest, and of course those low rent corporate/Camaro tail lights...
The dash also looks gimmicky to me, C5 meets Malibu, not a look of high quality like say the new Boxster, and that steering wheel, I dunno...
I'll wait to see the real thing for my final judgment, I have no doubt it's a better car than the C6, but I was hoping they would take a styling high road, less GM corporate tacky Cadillac/Camaro...
I give it a 6, I'll wait to see if it looks classier and less tacky in real life.

8 or 9, rear quarter panel seems a little odd, makes the rear wheel look smallish from the ground up. Very beautiful. I love the lights in the back. I'm sure they light up circular.

I would give it a 7 - 8. Like the looks of th front and sides but not crazy about the rear end. Can't wait to see the Z06 version and wider tires. When they do the vert version I think it would look very cool if they made the rear deck and top like the Solstice or Sky!! :thumbs: :thumbs:

If they're trying to get the Camaro buyers to step up to a vette it's not gonna work, most of them don't have that kind of money. The hardcore vette guys will buy it no matter what it looks like, as we see from some of the comments. After it's out for a year and the lots are full of them the big discounts will kick in. Most of these 10 scores are likely Chevy dealers/salesmen.

I give it a solid #2. It's even uglier than a C-4. C-6 owners should be very happy as the price of their cars just went up.

I'm rating it about a 6 and may opt for getting my deposit back...
My 23 year old son and several of his friends watched it as as well and were not impressed. Not scientific by any means, but they're car guys and if the idea was to appeal to their generation it was not a complete success.
