Some folks can't tell the difference between squared-off oblong and round.

With all due respect, the monetary support surely helps but when you throw it around like a badge of honor it makes you look "snobbish". YMMV.

"Badge of Honor" ???? Where did that come from? My point was that I believe it does entitle me to the right to post an opinion on this Forum, without having someone else try to tell me I cannot do so and should leave.
Simple enough, no?

I'm on here all the time. Man are you overstating that he is at "just about all the conflict on this forum"? Spare me the drama. There are plenty of a-holes on this board. Thanks for your input though. He is spot on this one and that is the thread I was responding to. I could care less about his other posts. There are plenty of people on the forum that like to stir it up and we could go on forever about them but if you read my post it is about our individual opinions and our right to them without getting trash talk from someone who disagrees about a car that we have not even seen yet. See my point? Nobody is trying to rain on anyones parade or party. It's a public forum, not a private party.

I just think there are some people on here that do not know what they are looking at and will argue to just argue. That is him in a nut shell.

Well, "Skank", it looks like others have a different opinion than yours.

BTW, the poll on the rear design renderings is 46 in favor and 70 against as of this post, so it looks like I am not the only one or even in the minority - you are, and don't even know it.

Urban Dictionary - Skank: implying trashiness or tackiness.... flakiness...

aptly self named?:yesnod:

Love it, said it from the start. I think the comparison to a Camaro may be accurate in some aspects but as far as I am concerned I am more interested in the room and comfort inside. I would love to order one early, my problem is, I cannot sit comfortably in a C6 otherwise I would have had one of those too.
If I can bend my legs and get my knees between the steering wheel and the transmission console and the steering wheel and the door, it will be mine :D

Sorry tuxnharley you must be new here. There is a group of purists around here that feel that they own the place or for that matter can tell you what you can and cannot say, or how to say it. Ignore them, its tough because on some topics the count runs high :D

Joe you nailed it and unless people understand what's happening they will not be satisfied until the c7 reveal tomorrow night.

Why does jalapynic even get these tcockeyed tips that distort the final product?

I hear they are the big news site but I personally prefer autoBlog as a more accurate source.

GM should as well.

This is by far the best looking Corvette I have ever seen. I am officially committed to buying one over the Lambo I was looking to purchase this summer. Finally....an American car with some awesome styling cues. Putting in my order!!!

Badge of honor, entitlement, call it what you will. I just found it interesting that your debate with that fellow, "Billy Bob" as you call him, got to the point where you pulled the "pay your dues" card, and your tone seemed condescending.

In my 10 years and 20,000+ posts here, I have never seen the "pay your dues" card pulled. Congrats. :D

Really? So, by your criteria a "true Corvette fan" would have to love every detail of every Corvette ever made, and never make a critical comment about anything. Somehow you, with all of 456 posts since 2009, have become a self appointed arbiter of what makes a true Corvette fan......

You're not a "true Corvette fan", you're a fanboi. Please go back to your prior level of minimal involvement in this Forum. Or, at least pay your dues as a true forum member and help support this place.

Here's an idea for you Billy Bob - how about you pay some dues and put your money where your mouth is? Naw, you just like to mouth off for free.

Way past time to put you on "ignore'.

Feel free to make all the inane comments you want, 'cuz they won't show up on my screen anymore................

and, if mine bother you so much, ya can always do the same with mine - assuming you can figure out how............

FWIW Tux, I have no problem with you, just cruising through and getting caught up on some C7 info. Spend 90% of my time over in CFOT. :hide: Like I said, just found it interesting that you brought up paying dues, we never do that over in OT. :D
