Garage - yes

Heated - no

Vettes just have to toughen up in the cold :willy:

No garage here, I run it regularly to keep it warm.

It's called an Intertherm. I think it was pilfered from an old house trailer.

Garage, no heat, at least in the winter month. I’m in Arizona after all. :hide:

FWIW, I don't keep my garage heated continuously. Just turn it on when I need some heat while I'm out there. The garage is finished and insulated so well it will rarely get below freezing in there.

I just rub it.
If that doesn't do it I take out the easy bake oven.

2 car attached garage, but it is not heated.
It doesn't really get below freezing in there.
The cold isn't going to hurt the Vette or the Harley though. :D

This will solve the cold issue!:iagree:
Which easy bake oven do you use?

I don't think you need a heater, unless you're going to work in the garage.

Mine has a fitted blanket that it sleeps in while its in the garage and I give it a bro hug occasionaly

A 2-ton heat pump...cold in the summer, warm in the winter. Vents at the top of the picture...

Got WAY too tired of working in the garage when it was 100+ and 90% humidity.

Geez, where's the flat panel?

speedycat3 01-08-2013 03:34 AM

I keep both my vettes warm in South Florida all year long.

Heated storage in franklin NH. 65.00 a month. Can't beat it. Sure miss it though.

RichS 01-08-2013 07:24 AM

I'd have to take a pic of the water heater I use to heat with. I put in Radient heat in the floor. Here is a older pic.

Although I wired for one, I never installed it.

It IS wired for music...and gets used every time I'm in there. With >20,000 songs in my iTunes library, I can listen to music commercial-free for over 2 1/2 months before hearing the same song twice. :D

I'm in there to WORK...if I want to watch TV there is a 120" projection screen <20' away :toetap:

I was all set to take a pic of my Bryant 175,000 btu furnace in my garage until I saw RichS and 1991Z07's pics, now I ain't gonna do it. Great looking garages guys, do you actually work on your cars in there?
BTW, I don't heat the garage for the Vette, I do it for me. I did my share of working in a cold garage or worse yet outside when I was much younger.

My other cars just snuggle up around it. They're a little funny that way.:D I don't trust the two week old Subaru yet.
