Transmission oil cooler on 84
 

Can anyone tell me or show me a picture where the engine oil cooler ( sorry about typeo error of the word transmission) is on a 84 Z51 car. I have the FSM but find no information or pictures. I am told this is part of the Z51 package which my car has according to orginal invoice and option tag behind rear seats.

If you're looking for the "engine oil cooler" it's mounted between the oil filter and the engine block. At least that's the way it is on an 85. It has an inlet and an outlet coolant hose going to it. The transmission fluid is cooled through the radiator if the car has an automatic transmission.
