Sorry dude. That was me. I grabbed a convertible off the local dealer's used lot and took a bunch of old comforters and other old bedding from the closet in our spare bedroom. I draped and strapped it all over the 'vert and though how funny it would be to absolutely fugg with all of the people hungry for any spy shots of the C7 as I drove around.

TWS, I know that is not true because there is an electrical box behind that "mule" and last time I heard Texas doesn't have an electrical infrastructure yet.. :rofl:

Big deal. I drove one last week while on business in Detroit. Tadge rode shotgun. The thing was awesome - 450 hp, 7-speed manual, 4-mode exhaust, on hard acceleration the thing sounded like a monster. Oh, I almost forgot - it was a convertible. Even though it had the optional folding hard top the car felt lighter than its C6 counterpart. I can't wait to order mine. :cheers:

Don't need a 2nd Camaro back end, never liked the first crop-top shunt design under the prior design center regime, gvt still hasn't got it - that good lighting design makes or breaks car styling.

Man I hope those are the real seats!

The windshield wipers are right off the Corsica.

One thing i know foresure on it it is 3000lbs. So lighter than the current vette by like 200lbs. Thats alot of weight shaved off.

I am very surprised that someone who has seen the car has not stopped by this thread and tossed a little tidbit our way. They are out there .:yesnod:

based upon all of the photos in the snow, i hope that chevy has addressed concerns about the vette being undrivable in the snow.

Ya know, I haven't seen that one yet.

I brought this up months ago CONMAX and I got the impression that I was the only one who felt that way. My 08 was exactly as you described, undrivable in the snow and the C7 is cruising in snow amongst traffic in those spy pics.

Well I thought that I would have to achieve a higher standard when powder coating. I think I can do as well as this, this is a terrible paint job! :rofl::rofl:
