Reproduction Seat Backs
Are pretty terrible compared to the originals. Like a piece of paper. Easily half the weight, texture is off, and the indentations are different. Just saying. I'm going to hang on to my originals and see if I can have them repaired.

Find yourself a nice pair of originals, there are lots out there and not too pricy, either.

Also trying to locate a good set of seat tracks w/o paying $500 for a rebuilt set from Corvette America. |
go to the parts section and post a WTB for the parts you need.

I also found the repops to be poor quality and not close to original.
I couldn't find any at Carlisle this past year. I sent back the ones I had ordered and refinished (filled in cracks) and repainted my originals. |
I agree with you. My originals were cracked, so I ended up trimming them around the edges and usinig them inside the reproductions. It gave some additional weight and strength to them.
